How to make communication with REJ525

DTP (TR. DIFF. RELAY)Install GE LOCAL software {setting edit software}

Install, GE INTRO32 {configuration ( BI,BO,LEDS) edit software}

Install (DTP00004) {DATA BASE model for TDP GE relay}1. To get the relay communication parameters

From the relay keypad press this keys 7 , 1 , 6 , 9

Then press ENT key

And match with this specification

Baud rate 9600

Stop bit 1

Time out 120

2. connect USB SERIAL comm. port to the laptop

Right click in my computer then select properties then hardware then device manager then ports then double click USB SERIAL comm. Port(com2) then adjust the parameters like above then close

3. From desktop window select start , programs , GE_NESIS , GE LOCAL

4. This screen will appeared then Enter user name (any name) and password 7169 default in DTP manual section 11 sheet 1 then press OK

5. This screen will appeared then click comm. parameters

6. Then adjust the comm. Parameters according to the above points (1,2) then click ok

7. Then press relay connection then enter the number & password our device relay no. =1 , password =1 then ok

8. Waiting up to download the setting from the relay

9. This screen will appeared according to good comm.

10. Then this screen will appeared main screen

You can enter any item by press click

11. Like as device status that gives you all of the status of the relay to go back press closes

12. If you want to edit setting so in the main screen press settings this screen will appear then press protection

13. This screen will appear then press general

14. This screen will appear then press general setting

15. This screen will appear double click make on any parameter if you want to make edit

16. Like this by double click on 1st winding ct ratio after edit press send

GE INTRO 32 software17. From desktop window select start , programs , GE_NESIS , Select GE intro32

18. This the main screen for GE intro32 software will be appeared

19. This figure show all parameters in main screen

20. From file menu select new

21. The model selection screen will appeared Then select DTP then press accept

22. the main screen will appearedClick configuration and adjust the port specification then accept and already we adjust it when we connected by GE LOCAL softwarePort: com 2

Speed: 9600

Word length: 8

Parity: none

Stop bits : 1

And press accept

23. The main screen will appeared press relay on/off switch

24. This screen will appeared then enter NO. =1 , password = 1 & press accept

25. The main screen will appear From setting menu select protection You will find:

Input : for configure digital inputAND: for making and gate from some parameters

Output : for configure digital output

Event : for configure protection events

25 /1 select digital input this screen will appeared here we can select the function for BIs

This screen will appear

After select BI function then press here to save and here to send

25/ 2 ANDWe can select the inputs for AND 1 to use it in another position

25 / 3 OUTPUTS

Here we can configure the binary outputs ( OR gate )

25 / 4 Event: for configure protection events ( OR gate )

26. From the main screen select setting menu select general configuration You will find

Events: for configure the communication eventsLEDS: for configure the lads

Graphical : for make the Graphical drawing

26 / 1 Events: for configure the communication events

26 / 2 LEDS: for configure the lads by using protection events that we configure it before

26 / 3 Graphical: for make the Graphical drawing and send Graphic
