This is in response to the KGEC request for more information regarding dated November 5, 2009, regarding Receipts and Expenditures in the period January 1, 2008 through July 24, 2008. I have addressed your concerns below.

1. The Kansas Democratic Party received a $5000 contribution from the United .Transportation Union PAC FEC ID C00001636 on 2/25/2008. These funds were deposited in our Federal Account. We have attached a copy of the check to show the funds were federally permissible.

2. The Kansas Democratic Party did not receive a contribution in the amount of $1 00 from Barbara Ballard. The Legislative Victory Fund reported a $400 contribution on 4/11/2008, but that is the only contribution in this reporting period.
