Communities Activities and Engagement There was a numbers of activities which conducted by SFD which are involving the communities and stakeholder throughout the year 2017. In 2017, two activities which are the most historical event throughout the year 2017 are the Officiation Ceremony of Forestry Station Sugut SFM Project and signing of the Surat Kerjasama Bersama Jabatan Perhutanan Sabah Dengan Komuniti Setempat Kg. Pantai Boring, Kg. Terusan Sugut, Kg. Keliaga dan Kg. Keniogan in conjunction with official visit by Datuk Sam Mannan, Chief Conservator of Forests at Kg. Pantai Boring on 7th October 2017.

There was a lot of engagement from stakeholder and communities during the both event. 7th October 2017 was the historical moment which all misunderstandings and mistakes between SFD and communities are deleted at all. Besides, the event was the historical record on how the SFD tackled and solved the past controversy with communities.
