Can you help find the pick of the bunch?

Volunteers in Bloom

Volunteering opportunities are blooming in the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames with over 2,000 people last year alone registering for placements from befriending to bat monitoring. The difficult task of finding the pick of the bunch for this year’s RCVS Community Awards is underway. This is your opportunity to nominate that very special person, be it a friend, relative or colleague, or an outstanding organisation, which gives time to help others and has contributed in helping our community blossom.

Richmond CVS (RCVS) is very proud to be announcing the 8th annual awards ceremony, one that recognises the invaluable contribution of so many selfless individuals across the Borough. These people really make a difference to so many organisations, which, in some instances, simply could not survive without their help. By nominating someone today you will help us find this year’s blooming marvellous volunteers and demonstrate your appreciation of their outstanding service to the community. The prize-winning ceremony will take place this autumn in the beautiful setting of Kew Gardens, our generous hosts for this year’s event. All volunteers who have been nominated for one of the 10 awards will be invited to receive a certificate of achievement at the ceremony in recognition of their contribution.
