• Local people in Zaamin are known to be inert (therefore, project started targeting active women first)
• Touristic potential was not fully explored, yet Zaamin was nominated to UNESCO world heritage list in 2008
• Most visitors came from neighboring regions, low awareness in Tashkent
• Tourism season – 3 months (only summer) – limited to health tourism
