How To Use In Job Search
Create A Job Application in Sheets•Company Name•Contact•Email•Date Applied
•Application Summary• Interview•Follow Up•Status•Notes
Include the following columns:
Create a To Do List
Create a Network Tracker
Bonus TipIf you’re an analog type who likes to keep it “old school,” I recommend that you get a small notebook and dedicate it to your job search. You then keep track of your applications, jot down a cover letter draft, take notes during interviews, and record anything else (any ideas) that comes up while you’re looking for jobs, networking, and interviewing. Then enter your information to Google Docs or Calendar. This two-step approach gives you the time to organize your thoughts before you enter the information digitally.
