Farmers Market
► Hastings Park Farmers Market features 40+ vendors weekly with a great selection of local fruits & veggies, fish, meat, cheese & dairy, artisan prepared foods, baking and treats, local crafts, food trucks, and hot coffee.
► Average attendance per market day: 1300
► Every Sunday from Nov 3 – Apr 26 (closed Dec 29)
Venue Host & Partner
YVEV Conference Youth Voices of East Van
► Bring together a diverse group of 600+ youth in East Vancouver to promote and support youth engagement, leadership reconciliation
► Celebrate and honour contributions and achievements of local youth in policy development and volunteer service
► Develop a sustainable way forward with our partners to ensure meaningful youth involvement in decisions that affect them and their community
Venue Host Partner – Feb 21, 2020
Youth Voices of East Van is a Youth Leadership and Governance initiative of ALIVE (Aboriginal Life in Vancouver Enhancement) Society in partnership with Britannia Community Services Centre, under the umbrella of Our Place. It is currently funded through Employment and Skills Development Canada (ESDC).
Art Project Open House
► Goal: Raise the profile and importance of The Sanctuary as a wild natural space within Hastings Park that benefits our community.
► To invite teachers in local schools to visit the Sanctuary for the purpose of making art of the natural environment to submit to the Board of the Hastings Park Conservancy which will ensure a public viewing of all submitted work.

► We accept the Access 2 card allowing special access for those with developmental disabilities and free visits for care providers

► Provide over 17,000 tickets for the local schools, businesses and community to access events including Playland, Fair, Fright Nights, Harvest, Aurora at no cost
► Over 2000 tickets for youth to be our guest at the NORCECA International Volleyball Olympic Qualifier event
► KC’s Kids Provides thousands of free Playland and Fair admissions for youth under 18
