Discover the Joy of Laughter Yoga!
Laughter Yoga is a gentle, feel-good event for all ages and
abilities. It combines unconditional laughter with yogic
breathing. Sessions begin with gentle stretching, chanting,
clapping, and body movement. Next comes the breathing ex-
ercise, to prepare the lungs for laughter. This is followed by
a series of “laughter exercises” that include fun, playful
games. These games, along with the personalities of the
group, undoubtedly lead to fits of laughter that go on and on.
Laughter Yoga
Laughter Yoga can lead to an almost immediate better mood due to
the release of endorphins that happens when participating in a ses-
sion! Laughter Yoga brings more oxygen to the brain, which helps
participants feel more healthy and energetic.
Let’s Talk
About The
Brain!
The “Be Kind to the Mind” presentation is a favorite among
the groups that we serve. This interactive presentation is
fun, as well as informative.

Honoring those 100 years and better!
Those that have reached 100 years and better are part of the
Centenarian Club. Home Bound Healthcare wishes to shine
the spotlight on this milestone by honoring centenarians in
the community.
Centenarians may be honored with a cake, a bouquet, and a
catered meal for the guest of honor and their family. The
celebration may take place in the centenarian’s home, the
HBH office, or at another planned location.
Centenarian Club
Anyone turning 100 in the upcoming year, or those that have
already reached this milestone are invited to participate!
HBH promotes good health with Wellness Clinics!
Our wellness clinics offer residents the opportunity to be
proactive about their health.
At a wellness clinic, a Home Bound Healthcare nurse will
check blood pressure and listen to the heart and lungs of
anyone that wishes to participate. Participants are given a
blood pressure card to bring with them the next time they
get their blood pressure checked. This allows residents to
be involved and take an interest in their health.
The nurse will also be available to listen to health concerns
and answer health related questions.
Help your clients to be proactive about their health!
