Forme Cut (ZIMMER)

Forme Cut is available in 8 or 10 TPI and is manufactured from shaved edge steel, which is further precision ground to give a symmetrical double bevel finish.An ideal rotary rule for diemakers who prefer to work with center bevel materials on today’s new generation of automated rule processors. Whilst this particular type of bevel reduces the amount of pressure required to cut, the blade is further enhanced by the use of edge-hardened steel improving wear characteristics. Forme Cut, though developed to cut a broad range of materials, works extremely well in the cutting of corrugated board with rotary tooling.

Dicar has developed, together with a recommended steel manufacturer, a flatbed cutting rule which is made within the recommended ESU tolerances. Diemakers glue gun

Die mounting hole drills
ChARACteRIstICs
The best way to mount plywood shells on the die cylinder is still with flathead bolts. They prevent that two parts of the die are pushed away. To drill the holes for these bolts in one step, special hardened drills are available. To keep the plywood in optimum state, die washers can be mounted. Flathead bolts with washers will prevent the popping open from shells, creating hang-up points for scrap. Do not use sunken head screws.

Strapping belt
ChARACteRIstICs
Strapping belts are used to mount the plywood shells on the cylinder. They are used to reduce the time to mount the plywood on the diemaking cylinder. For diemakers with a jigsaw fixture, they are used to mount the wood on the support disks.

For axial extension of our plywood shells tapered corrugated fasteners are available. With the airpowered staple gun and the tapered fasteners cinch the plywood shells together. A very rigid joining is the result.The staples are made of special spring-steel to keep the two parts together, even under the highest load.

Notching machine A3
ChARACteRIstICs
A chromed, all-steel construction machine, with good power transmission allowing notching of rules up to 4 pt in thickness and capable of a total notch depth of 19 mm.
Operating lever position can be changed by means of a special tooth system. Small round design of the bottom knife makes it possible to notch pre-bent rules.
Machines are standard equipped with 1 set of 7 mm wide knives.(Sizes 3-10 mm are available as optional extras)

Bender FB77(foot operated)CHARACTERISTICS
This bender is table mounted and comes with an 11 piece die set. Its accurately ground and chromed steel base always ensures bending remains even.
This foot operated machine allows the die maker to use both hands during the bending operation. The dies are rigidly held in position but still easily changed.
The solid supporting arm and the good power transmission enable bending of rules up to 50 mm high, 3 Pt. thick.
The machine comes equipped with a vernier gauge as standard, enabling accuracy of up to 0.05 mm.

Constructed to cut a lip in the ends of cutting rules for a perfect joint and also for can be used for straight cutting.

The lever position can be changed by means of a special tooth system. Turning 2 knurled clearly marked knobs enables a stepless adjustment to be made for the different thiknesses of rules.

The Right and Left Hand Miter Machine can miter two ends at once - thus eliminating the extra steps involved in cutting lenghts on a cutter, trimming one end of the miter, and setting up once again to trim the other end. Easy and powerful bender for 3, 4 and 6 pt. Rule.
Helmold has engineered this new E-Z line of tools with patent-pending toggle-joint mechanism in the handle so it delivers the same results as your traditional tools but requires only one-fourth the elbow grease. The new toggle design gives you far greater working force for your effort. Their new E-Z handles also have ergonomic, variable hand positioning that accommodates any working height and angle you personally find comfortable and convenient.
The Helmold E-Z Heavy Duty Bender has a standard (32 mm) high post that can accommodate optional mandrel sets designed for thicker rule. The front die holder is recessed, keyed and bolted to eliminate springing and turning; and the rear die holder slides out to hold any required mandrel. Optional (38mm) and (50mm) high posts are also available for this bender Also standard on the E-Z Heavy Duty Bender are the vise-action die holders and locking dovetail back post previously only offered on the modified Bender Bendall and the modified Heavy Duty Bender. The vise-action die holders allow tightening of loose-fitting dies for precise alignment of new or worn bending dies. An light wrench is used to close the jaws. The locking dovetail back post is designed to deliver consistent bending even after years of use.In order to use mandrels with this machine, a mandrel adapter and dovetail extension are needed . If the mandrels are under 16mm diameter, a rear support post and link will also be required.
