You will be working for our subsidiary company Darrington Quarries Ltd, which is a long, established quarrying company operating in Yorkshire. Darrington Quarries has six limestone quarries and one sand quarry they are all situated close to the A1 from Doncaster in the south to Tadcaster in the north

Role Purpose

To operate and administer the weighbridge at Brotherton Quarry.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the weighbridge in accordance with the Procedure DQP19 within the IMS document.

Report accidents to the manager and investigate the circumstances. Liaise with Manager and the Health and Safety Representative on Health

and Safety issues at the workplace. Work in accordance with Environmental Management System and promote

environmentally considerate work practices. Develop and promote good communications and professional relationships

between all levels of staff and employees.

Qualifications and Experience (preferred)

Experience with excel, word, outlook.

Strong leadership skills involving a multi-disciplined team. Commitment and determination to meet personal objectives. Strong drive

and resilience. Good people development skills and qualities Ability to work collaboratively at all levels in a capacity of adding value to the

decision making process. Ability to re-evaluate priorities, responding quickly and positively to change

is imperative. Proven success of communicating at the highest level both internally and

externally. Performance driven with the ability to deliver added value and assist in the

improvement of operational performance. Sufficiently resilient and robust to effectively manage third parties.
