This department constitutes JIKCO's manufacturingsector. Our top-quality plastic products are manu-factured in a stringently controlled environmentthroughout the production process - from molding,printing, assembling and to packing. Thanks to oursolid production system, we are capable to readilyrespond to our clients' orders and to extend a full-guarantee of our products.JIKCO's plastic components were initially used inthe railroad and electric power industries and nowhave been expanded to the fast-growing opticalindustry. Today, they are used for light sources forreading, displaying, as well as for digital cameras.Using our printing and mold technologies, we havedeveloped silk printing dots. We applied these tech-nologies to make reflective dots and prisms.Our plastic products are manufactured by JIKCOTEC Ltd. located in Tatebayashi City, GunmaPrefecture. In 2000, a part of the plastic productionwas moved to China in order to meet competitivepricing.

Health is becoming an increasingly importantissue in life. Numerous health care products fillthe counters of local drug stores throughout thecountry. Of all such items, MESHIMAKOBU,whose academic name is Phellinus Linteus, isdrawing significant attention from the healthfood industry. This rare mushroom grows in clus-ters (kobu) on wild mulberry trees indigenous inMeshima Island, Nagasaki Prefecture: thus givingthe mushroom its name.Meshimakobu mushrooms are harvested only incertain areas in Japan, the Philippines, Australia,and in North America. Due to its small habitatand the vulnerability to weather changes, the

yield of MESHIMAKOBU is small and unpre-dictable. Cultivating the fungus was equally adaunting task. Supply of the commercial productwas unstable until Korea established a reliablecultivating technique in 1993. Owing to the mostadvanced biotechnology, MESHIMAKOBU withan authentic health value became available inJapan as well.Our MESHIMAKOBU HPL-1 is made of onlycarefully selected fungus sent from various habi-tats in the world.
