IAI’s new unmanned marine system the “ Katana” is powered by Mobilicom and includes: Command & Control of the USV from controller, Telemetry & feedbacks from USV to controller, A wide variety of payloads information/video from USV to controller: optical HD video surveillance, IR surveillance, radar image, 360⁰ cameras, etc. Mobilicom’s products are installed on the USV platform, a shore-station controller and mother-ship controller.

Mobilicom was chosen following a long evaluation process as the new communication solution for the Protector USV platform, and its control-stations on land and onboard mother-ships. Israel is upgrading its naval & coast-guard capabilities to better protect it’s off-shore Gas & Oil.

The Silver Marlin is equipped with Elbit Systems' electro-optical systems for intelligence and reconnaissance missions. Mobilicom’s advanced 4G MESH communication solutions was chosen to replace older communication to completely run, control, distribute and share sensors and information to and from the USV.
