SEP Audio Consulting we are Spanish company with more than 35 years experience and
dedicated exclusively to Acoustic Engineering, mainly in electroacoustics field and audio
market. Each project is attended with severity and dedication, and we designing solutions

We have been performing electroacoustic
consulting services and designing sound systems
for about 35 years. We produce a wide range of
developments for the audio market in all its
varieties, specially line-array and waveguide
design, providing innovative products of the
highest quality. We have made OEM projects
(original equipment manufacturers) for many
companies around the world. In this market, SEP
Audio is a partner of many of the world's most
competitive manufacturers.
We also offer training services, both design and
application, for companies, institutions and
educational centers. We adapt to each of the
needs to offer resources and tools for system
design.
Acoustic simulation techniques
For our developments, we use the most
modern techniques to obtain solid theoretical
developments and generating reliable initial
steps and access to prototyping phase with
best quality guarantees.
In addition to all classical theories and
methodologies offered by acoustics
engineering, we use modern simulation
techniques based on Finite Element Method
(FEM) and/or also supported by the Finite
Difference Method in the Temporary Domain
(FDTD), depending on the project and its
application.

We have our own technical
laboratory at our headquarters with
better necessary acoustic
instrumentation y for development,
measurement, characterization and
verification our projects.
Accumulated experience allows us
working rigorously any proposed
project. In addition, we have access
to a large anechoic chamber on
demand, that helps us to optimal
measurement and characterization
of any product .
Mechanical design
We also offer this engineering branch associated
with our acoustic developments. We give shape
and size to elements that make up each
mechanical system requirement.
All is designed with the maximum guarantees of
reliability and oversize required by international
regulations.

Modeling files
SEP Audio have been offering sound system
modeling files for years based on real
characteristics and system measurements.
Once data that characterizes each sound
source is obtained, we can generate .gll files
for EASE and generic CLF files for other
software.
All mechanical characteristics that help to fly,
stack and tilt systems are also characterized.
These files allow installers and/or users
making sound system simulation in countless
situations and help taking decisions at
installations.
Complementary electronic design
In addition to most optimal choice and
adaptation of the acoustic transducer, we also
offer design and facilitation of all electrical /
electronic elements that may complement
each system.
Systems such as passive crossover filters, 100
Volt line transformers, wiring, etc. Everything
system may need in a complementary way.
We also offer a self-cooling package that
optimizes components characteristics

Installation support
Acoustic simulations can anticipate
acoustic problems/mistakes before
executing an installation work, and it
alows desingning necessary solutions
and guaranteeing investment and the
final result.
We work with the most advanced and
powerful software to obtain an
optimal positioning of sound systems,
a prediction of sound pressure levels in the audience areas, as well as the coverage and
intelligibility indexes.
Therefore, from the planimetry of any hall, we can generate the optimal installation project
with data of material choice, placement or inclination for having a global vision of
installation before being carried out.
In-situ adjustment and optimization
We adjust sound equipment through in-situ acoustic
measurements and the latest multi-channel FFT
transfer function software.
We work with linear and non-linear response
parameters in frequency, phase, multiple system and
subsystems alignment, absolute sound pressure
levels and intelligibility index, among others.
We adjust signal processing and apply the most
efficient system arrangements for each installation
(sound source groupings, subwoofer arrangements,
directivity control, etc.)
