Our Story

➢ Excell group consists of Excelltech Wind India Private Ltd and Excell

Engineering started its operation from 2001 by its promoters who are

experienced Engineers in their respective fields and are certified by the

Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.

➢ We are certified EA GRADE Electrical Contractor in Government of Tamil

Nadu and also executed Electrical works all over India.

➢ We are associated with renewable energy like Wind Industry for more than

15 Years and 5 years in solar projects.

➢ As an Electrical Contractor, We undertake all the works for setting of Wind

farm and solar farm from concept to commissioning.

➢ We have in-house experienced teams, capable of identifying sites by

analyzing of Wind Potential and accessing adequate evacuation facility

which can handle uninterrupted power transmission from Wind farm.

➢ Excell Power Projects Pvt Ltd has been farmed out for EHV activity with

added professional expertise and engineering capability which is carved out

of the flagship company Excelltech Wind India Pvt Ltd.

• S. Murugan – Managing Director

➢ He has 25 years of experience in the construction of HT lines, DP yards and Bay

extension for windmills, evacuation & other power projects.

➢ He is a highly qualified Electrical Engineer who began his career as an

Industrial Electrification & Telecom Sub Contractor.

➢ Executed huge volumes of works with BSNL.

➢ Successfully executed infinite number of Industrial Electrification & Wind Farm

Projects.

➢ Executed and commissioned more than 2000 Wind Mills and laid transmission

lines for more than 1500 km.

➢ The company grew to full capability, executing several orders, transmission

lines, wind power projects, BOP for power and, Industrial Electrification etc.

➢ He has total 27 Years of experience, in which Thermal Power plants (22 Years)

and Wind Power plants (5 Years).

Project, 230/33 KV – PSS at Paruthiyur , Tamil Nadu with 56 KM 230 Line

Key Technical Members

The operating team in the Excell Power Projects consists of an experienced workforce, all

of whom have spent many years in the electrical industry. The team is a well knit unit and

have been together for many years

➢ Mr. G .Sankarraj - Director

He has total 27 Years of experience, in Thermal Power (22 Years) and Wind Power (5

Years). He is a Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering and was associated with

Thermal Power station & Wind Power with Corporate companies as Head – Projects. He

Successfully executed many Thermal Power Projects in the Private companies like Cethar

Vessels, J K Industries , Ballarpur Industries, Chettinad Cements, Empee Groups, Lucas TVS

& India pistons Ltd (Amalgamations Group). He successfully executed 700 MW Wind

Power Projects across Indian Wind states worked as Head / Projects in ReGen Power

Projects, Chennai. In ReGen Power he successfully commissioned the EHV PSS projects

experience with various MNCs namely English Electric, Schenider Electric, Emerson Group

and many more. He is associated with Renewable energy with more than 8 years.

➢ Mr R Dhanasekaran - GM Liasoning

He is a Graduate Engineer in Electrical who has a total experience of more than 25 years

in Liaoning with State EBs, State and Central Electrical Inspectorate and other related

Government officials to get required approvals of drawings, clearances and co-ordination

with relevant officials to get the projects commissioned for all of our clients.

Our Manufacturing Facility

➢ We have in house facility in Palladam, Near Coimbatore Tamil Nadu for

Fabrication of Structures, AB Switches and Panels.

➢ The facilities have a built up area of 65000 Sq.Ft, and can produce 600 MT per

Annum at Palladam.

➢ We are capable of establishing evacuation system of more than 1000 Nos of Unit

Substation ( 11 KV – 33 KV) at various sites for various customers viz., Tamilnadu,

Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka and Madhya

Pradesh.

➢ Our Manufacturing Facility is equipped with necessary material handling

equipment like Cranes, Mobile Hydras in the yard and LCVs for longer distance

moment of materials.

➢ We are equipped with 40 Ton capacity high precision weighing bridge to cater the

in-house requirement. To maintain uninterrupted power supply, we have diesel

generators of capacities 15KVA (2 Nos) & 30 KVA.

➢ Inspections are done at all following stages for Hot Dip Galvanizing process.

Inspection of Black Material, Inspection after Greasing, Acid Pickling, Fluxing. The

work in each stage is well tested in accordance to the Indian Standards.
