Werther Logistik is an independent, family-run transport and logistics company. Stefan and Thomas Werther are already the third generation to ensure, with the support of all employees, the safe and reliable processing of grocery storage and transport.

Our fleet encompasses all segments sought after in the food industry; boxtrailers, refrigerated, silo, and tank vehicles. Thus Werther Logistik is one of a select few who can offer their customers the whole portfolio, including warehouse logistics and logistic services, without having to rely on sub-contractors.

The tank and silo segment of the fleet are used exclusively for food transport. We offer all services related to food transport and tank and silo interior cleaning.

The conventional transport includes all types of goods. We also have great experience in machine and equipment trans-port.

▪ 1933: Inception of the transport company through the brothers Erich and Karl Werther

▪ 1975: Establishment of Werter GmbH. The proprietors were Walter Kliebisch, Manfred Werther and Hans-Hen-ning Werther.

▪ 1983: The 50th anniversary saw the inauguration of a new plant in Dieselstr., Sehnde. The company now has 24 em-ployees and 18 trucks.

▪ 1992: The grand opening interior tank cleaning facilities. ▪ 1995: First reception of the quality management system

certificate DIN EN ISO 9002. ▪ 1998: The Inception of the NALOG GmbH & Co. KG co-

operation in Braunschweig. Werther is one of the four founding members.

▪ 1999: Acquisition of the Werther GmbH by Stefan Werther and Thomas Werther.

▪ 2001: Foundation of Werther Logistik GmbH & Co. KG. ▪ 2002: For the first time we started an apprenticeship for

forwarding merchants. ▪ 2007: The consortium Werther now has 80 employees

in the industrial and commercial sector, including one

apprentice wishing to become a merchant for forwarding and logistics services. We have 56 units that are used to fulfil the logistic needs of well-known clients in the food industry.

▪ 2012: Takeover of a subdivision of Langhorst GmbH & Co. KG in Wunstorf, including the associated warehouse, workshop and vehicle fleet.

▪ 2013: Certification of the whole company by the newest standard of IFS Logistics as well as GMP+ B4.

▪ 2014: Reconstruction of the tank interior cleaning facility. ▪ 2014/15: Certification of the tank truck interior cleaning

system according to SQAS (2014) and the Eftco Food Assess-ment.

▪ 2016: Takeover of the logistics centre Schnedebruch 12, Sehnde

▪ 2017: Takeover of a part of the company Kobernuss from Uelzen.

All tractor trailers possess telematics (mobileObjects / Fleetboard). The trailers are used exclusively for the transport of food. The pressure vessels are made from V2A - stainless steel.

Compartments: 1-4 compartments, up to 48 m3 volume. ▪ e.g. 14/20/14 m³, 10/12/12 m³, 9/12/12 m³, 7/20/5 m³, 9/6/5

m³ etc. ▪ All chambers can be centrally unloaded towards the back via

a fittings cabinet. If necessary several types of products can be delivered at once.

Emptying: ▪ InneInboard, mechanical or pneumatic stainless steel floor

valves DN 100 ▪ Stainless steel butterfly valve DN 100 ▪ Clutches also made from stainless steel ▪ Food pump with a stepless adjustable engine ▪ Sterile filter system ▪ Compressor (2 bar) ▪ Possibility of unloading from the side with short outfeed

All tractor trailers possess telematics.

The silo trailers, with a volume of 60m3 are used exclusively for the transport of food. They are made of aluminium.

Features: ▪ Unloading through a compressor on the tractor unit ▪ The Air, which is used for the exhaustion, is contactless

sealed (2 bar) ▪ All trailers are equipped with a 5 µm stainless steel

micro filter ▪ The air is completely free of oil and dust ▪ Detachable stainless steel airflow; flexible parts are

made of a pressure hose for optimal cleaningg

All tractor trailers possess telematics. The curtain and box semi-trailers serve full and part loads, not only in the food sector, but also for machine and equipment transport.

Features: ▪ Dry box semi-trailers can carry a payload up to 25 tons

and have place for 34 palettes ▪ Sliding curtain semi-trailer with place for up to 34 palettes ▪ Cooling trailers equipped with a partition and

satellite-aided temperature control ▪ Lifting platforms available on request ▪ interior height of 2.7m ▪ Cargo safety following the guidelines DIN-EN 12642,

DIN-EN 12195-1 und VDI-Richtlinien 2700 ff ▪ All trailers equipped with anti-slip mats, straps, clamping

plates and bars, locking bars, edge protectors, boxes and sliding curtains come with lashing lugs.

The company has 26,000 m² of storage space and offers

WAREHOUSING



We have a SQAS certified facility for the cleaning of food tank and silo trailers with the most modern technology. Other harmless products can be cleaned on arrangement.

Hazardous material will not be accepted on principle!

Equipment: ▪ 1 cleaning track ▪ 3 high pressure flushing heads with a water pressure

of 100 bar and with vertically and horizontally movable cleaning heads

▪ Air drying with more than 80 °C, air intake via F5 and F9 filters

▪ 2 steam connections with a stainless steel micro filter of 5 µm

▪ UV irradiation of the drinking water, which is used for the cleaning
