BANNER ENERGY IN BRIEF

Banner Energy Limited (BannerGas)… Is an energy and power business development and management company, with expertise in gas and power infrastructure design, development, operations and management. Banner is big in LPG bulk and retail trading infrastructure development, bulk sales and distribution operations. BannerGas is a hundred percent owned (100%) Nigerian company. Banner offers a wide range of carefully

selected and specialized inter-related services. Our service scope covers Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Procurement,

Project Management, Project Commissioning, and Concept Marketing. Sometimes all services are intricately interwoven in our

Business/Project Development efforts. The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) certifies Banner Energy LTD as an energy servicing and development company. The Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) certifies Banner as an oil and gas equipment and products marketing, distribution and retailing company. Banner has designed, built and currently operates over 40 LPG retail plants across the country, with additional 30 retail plants due for commissioning in batches from Q4 2015, raising our retail outlets to over 70, operating under the umbrella of the “BannerGas Network of LP Gas Retail Systems”, which network of 500 gas plants was commissioned in 2009 by the President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, during the administration of the late President Musa Yar’Adua. BannerGas is a major participant in the local content technology development and transfer in Nigeria. Our partnership experience in the business of gas trading and infrastructure development includes that with Oando PLC, NNPC, the Nigeria LNG, Rivers State Government owned Treasure Energy Resources Ltd, Lagos state government Ëko Gas” Powered by BannerGas, Bayelsa State Government, Federal Ministry of Environment, MTN communications, amongst others. And our foreign technical partners include; FAS-Germany, NINELT-Germany, ELPIGAZ-Poland, Nebimak-Turkey, Milano-Turkey, WTS-Italy, Commerzbank/Euler Hermes – Germany, etc. Banner is an emerging player in the power sector, with experience in captive power generation projects completed with MTN Communications, Homegate Nigeria Ltd, etc; with current maturing opportunities in the 30MW embedded power generation with Eko Disco, and On-grid power generation in Ikot-Abasi, with the BannerGas Terminal 300MW IPP project, both opportunities relying on LPG and Natural gas.

Mr. Nuhu Yakubu, is a seasoned Energy

business development and management expert, with over 15 years industry experience. He has hands on multi-sector experience, cutting across the upstream, downstream and power sectors in Nigeria.

Born in September 1970, Mr. Nuhu Yakubu holds a certificate in Strategic Finance, from the Harvard Business School, M.Sc. in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, from the University of Lagos B.Sc. in Economics and Management Sciences, from the Bendel State University, and an Ordinary Diploma (equivalent) of Science from the University of Benin. He has attended many management training and technical courses locally and internationally, including at the Lagos Business School and the Texas A&M University.

Nuhu Yakubu is the Group Managing Director of:

Banner Energy Ltd, a Gas & Power business development and management company, and Homegate Limited, a properties investment & development company.

He had previously served as Managing Director at Stan Chem International Ltd, an upstream procurements, exploration well goods management and logistics support company, with experience working with Esso exploration (Exxonmobil), OPL 209 offshore oil block drilling activities on Erha and Bosi oil fields, with over 32 oil wells.

He is a council member and the Deputy President of the Nigerian Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (NLPGA). He was honored as a Justice of the Peace in 2002, by the Rivers State Government; and “most outstanding personality of the year 2000” by the Guardian Newspapers.

Mr. Nuhu Yakubu is married with children.

Engr. Aloy Duru – Director Engineering

and Technical services Aloy Onyenucheya Duru, a chartered engineer (COREN), Nigerian,

born in 1953, is also the co-founder and Managing Director of Epic

Atlantic Limited - an oil & gas projects engineering/management

company - delivering services across sectors of the Nigeria oil &

gas industry. He holds a competence status in oil and gas facilities

engineering with multi-dimensional experience spanning

onshore/offshore plays, field development planning, upstream

facilities design & construction, production technology & operations,

and project/asset management. He is a change manager with

outstanding capabilities in organizational transformation

management and coordination of multi-disciplinary activities.

He started his career in the oil & gas industry in 1979 with Shell

Nigeria where he worked for 23 years, serving in various capacities

in Petroleum Engineering, Field Engineering, Planning/Economics

functions, rising up to Chief Engineer position. Immediately

following his exit from Shell in January 2003, he joined Banner

Energy Ltd as Director of Engineering Services, as well as co-

founded Epic Atlantic Limited – a company he has a vision to build

up to a world class standard in Engineering and Project

Management services.

He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from The University of

Ife, Nigeria, and a Certificate in Environmental Economics & Policy

Analysis from The Harvard University.

Engr. Onwunyirigbo Chudi holds an M.Sc in Mechanical

Engineering from University of Port Harcourt and MBA

(Executive Management) from University of Science and

Technology, Port Harcourt. He is a COREN registered Engineer.

He has over 12 years experience in Manufacturing industry-

Plant Manager in Michelin Nig. Ltd, Port Harcourt and

General Manager in Udeagbala Holdings, and over 18 years in

Power and Energy industry including dredging..

He was involved in the development and running of a

1320MW Lagos Thermal Station Egbin as Chief Operations

Superintendent. He played key role in developing another

746MW CCPP Imobi Thermal Station, Ogun State. He has

executed transmission line projects including 132KV

Substation and Agbor-Asaba 132KV DC/DC line for NIPP (Pivot

Project).

Banner Energy Ltd, like any other progressive emerging company, has developed a well documented catalogue of

Development of 300MW CCPP On-grid IPP to be fired by LPG and Natural gas at Ikot-Abasi in

Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria, using GE equipment in partnership.

Development of a 30MW IPP Embedded power plant for Eko Distribution Company PLC (EKO

Disco) using GE equipment in partnership.

Installation and commissioning of additional 30no. skid mounted digitalized dispensing plants across

Nigeria, in expansion of the BannerGas network of LPG filling plants.

Development of 1st phase of 12.5MT of a 45MT LPG ship loading/offloading and storage depot to

receive LPG cargos from marine vessels for onward loading onto road tankers for in-country

distribution.
