TBS Group Is an international healthcare technical services provider with over 2,000 clinical engineering specialists in 1,000 healthcare facilities and performing 1.5 million maintenance tasks each year on almost 1 million medical devices.

TBS was started in the late 1980’s by a group of engineers
that had the skills to undertake the clinical maintenance
of many different manufactures medical devices.
Through innovative ideas and market driven economic
savings it started to grow rapidly. That progress continues
today alongside the technological evolution and the
development of clinical engineering, which could no
longer be defined as just “biomedical engineering”, but as
TBS Group’s core business model is based on multi-
vendor skilled technical teams being locate in hospital
premises, performing all preventative maintenance and
repair of biomedical equipment, independent of the
manufacturer and of the technology. The operations
can be supported by off-site laboratories and workshops
where specialist skills / environmental conditions or
technology require dedicated repair, test and calibration
equipment.
Whilst the Group’s activities have expanded to its current
position to being europe’s market leader, with the ability
to bespoke the services offered to the individual client
requirements which remain core to the growth and
success of the business. from its foundation into the

Health Technology Management – derived from the
Group’s core business activities of clinical engineering
and the provision of outsourced multivendor
maintenance services for all medical equipment. HTm
provides for the management of the entire lifecycle of
medical equipment supporting hospitals in planning,
asset management, procurement, training, integrated
care, refurbishment, disposal and replacement.
These services are further extended to more
complex equipment such as endoscopy, diagnostic
imaging, surgical instruments refurbishment and
repair, biomedical related technical aids, energy
management, etc.

service areas enabling it to enhance its core business

Turnkey solutions. for healthcare facilities
technological design, purchase and maintenance

Refurbished equipment. Both for purchase and

warehouses, repair workshops and refurbishing plants

whilst reducing bed occupancy for clinical observation
and implementing the most advanced mobile health

notifications and remote management of suitable forms
of care and aid. Telediagnosis products set up for the
remote monitoring physiological parameters of patients.
Domotics tools aim to simplify daily life and make it safer
for single persons and elderly.
Global Contractor in international trading, consultancy
and procurement tenders promoted by national and
international institutions in emerging markets, mostly for
the supply of healthcare technology. Global contracting
guarantees to the customer financial optimization
through the equipment selection, direct relationship with
oems and financial management. Within last few years
