Business Summary : With the sole intention of supplementing the income of farmers a
great idea of dairy was put forth in the mind of Shri D. G. Salunkhe. This resulted in the birth
of the Siddharth Group in 1991. He along with his close relatives has established eight other
companies engaged in milk procurement, trading, processing & marketing of milk & milk
products. The promoters have strong business relationship with co-operative chilling
centers, producers & milk suppliers. The group has set up 10 chilling centers & over 290 bulk
cooling stations spread over 215 villages of Maharashtra,Karnataka A demonstration dairy
farm has been set up to educate milk producers in clean milk production, regulated feeding,
disease control and genetic improvement of milch animals. There are also extension
services to provide artificial insemination, vaccination & treatment of sick animals. Our
clean milk chain confers on our product their traditional flavour, while modern technology
permits the standardization of production in accordance with the strictest dictates of
international hygiene & sanitary regulation. Our policy is focused on the quality of products
& the protection of environment. Concerning environment & quality, the company has
assumed the commitment to provide clients with premium quality products tied to the
tradition of India. Important concept, therefore, are correctness, reliability, conformity &
continuous improvement. The dairy in future has ambitious plan to venture into products
like UHT milk & juice, casein, lactose, WPC,Non Hygroscopic Demineralised whey powder
etc. This will bring many credential & laurels to the group.Our large Manufacturing capacity
at 5 different locations across most part of Maharashtra is backed by an, impressive

A) Siddharth Milk & Milk Products Private Limited: The Company has provided Infrastructure for 3 milk chilling centers at Phaltan, Karmala & Yashodhara Miraj & 142 Bulk cooling centers in the district of Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Miraj, Ahmednagar, Belgaon. The average collection is 4.5 lakhs liters per day.B) Siddharth Natural Food Resources Private Limited: The Company has set up 3 milk chilling centers at Kasti, karwadi & waghwadi & 148 Bulk cooling centers in the district of Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, and Miraj, Belgaon & Solapur. The average collection is 5 lakhs per day. C) The Company has set up 4 milk chilling centers in the name of Siddharth Milk Foods Pvt Ltd. & Siddharth world trade pvt ltd at Satara, Sangli, and Miraj, Belgaon & Solapur the average collection from above centers is 3.5 lakhs per day.D) Through supplies : In this system, person who have their own chilling facilities, Procure milk through small vendors and bring to the dairy. Milk is accepted after proper testing on diffrent parameters.
Development program A) The Company proposes to start minimum 100 village level milk procurement Centers as its feeder societies. During 3 years as many as 300 feeder centers will be connected to the company.B) The Company further proposes to make available financial assistant to the members of the feeder society for purchase cow & buffaloes so as to increase milk production. Financial assistant to the individual milk producers will help their socio & economic development & thus upliftment of standard of living.

EXTENSIONAL AND INPUT SERVICESThe following extensional and input services are provided by the organization to the milk
producer for boosting up milk producer in the area of operation .
A) Mobile veterinary service:-
For prompt and timely animal treatment, veterinary services are provided round the clock..
Along with treatment, required veterinary medicines are provided on no cost to the Producer
B) Artificial insemination services: -
For cross breeding artificial insemination activity are provide by using semen and to improve
high grade breed for effective A1 service Liquid Nitrogen containers are provided to every
village for storing semen. Also liquid nitrogen are supplied periodically for preserving semen
at village level along with Veterinarian.
C) Distribution of balance cattle feed supply:-
Balance cattle feed one of the most engraving in animal and getting cattle feed as per quality is
important. Organization get manufactured balance cattle feed from reputed cattle feed
manufactures as per required norms and is distributed to the farmer.
D) Milk Bill Payment:-
It is that ensured that regular milk bill payment is made to the farmers on every 10 days in the
in the following manner.

E) Green fodder crop seed distribution:-
For the cultivation of green fodder crop seed at difference jeer fodders i.e. Maze, Lucerne,
Berseem, ND21 will supplied at subsidize rate. Hence the green fodder helps to maintain milk
production and improve animal life. So efforts are being taken for green fodder production at
farm level.
F) Purchase of milk Animal:-
High milk yielding Buffaloes such as Murha & Cross bread cows are distributed to the farmers
for increasing milk production. The financial assistance for the purchase of animal are made
available from Nationalized Bank to the farmers. And the women self help groups in the area of
operation which is developed by our Organisation named "Siddhartha Setu" Trust.
G) Training Activities:-
Each producer is trained in hygienic milking procedure.
H) Insurance of Milk producer:-
Milk supply will be insured in master policy for any eventuality if any thing happened to the
milk producer. Under this insurance claim the farmer will be financially and economically
compensated.
