Stainless Steel Fabrication:

• We fabricate stainless from .5mm to 50mm and over in thickness.

• We use all types of welding process’s (MIG, TIG and Arc)

Fabrication consists of but not limited to:

• Kitchen benchtops, commercial kitchens, hospital fit outs, Gangways for super yachts, drip trays,

Pressure vessels, Handrails – both domestic and offshore, deck plates, smoke stop sliding doors,

Tanks, milk tankers, 400 litre IBC’s – certified to carry methanol, angle and tube brackets,

Pipe welding both dairy finish and ASME standard, conveyors, boxes, cabinets and more.

Recent projects include:

• Ballance Agri nutrients – two staff on site full time, repairs and maintenance on all aspects of the plant including

conveyors, pumps, compressors, bagging plant and process plant maintenance.

• Just Water - Complete bottling and bottle washing plant build in Penrose site, fabrication of tanks, conveyors and

pipework

• Symons Transport – 4 x 14000lt clip on milk tankers, 4 x 17000lt clip on milk tankers.

• Lonza NZ Ltd – all site maintenance including conveyors, hoppers, ducting and pipework etc.

• Pernod Ricard – install of stainless steel pipe work and juice lines for 18 new silos.

• Todd Energy – 10000psi portable degasser.

• Drylands Winery- repair and earthquake strengthening of 40 silos.

• Fonterra-NDA-Tetra Pak – Waitoa UHT upgrade work – new cream lines to Carton machines.

• Egmont Honey – Installation of imported equipment with new pipework and improvements made to imported

equipment to meet NZ standards.

Aluminium fabrication:

• Panels, tool boxes, storage boxes, wall brackets, tanks, trailer panelling and decks

• Mooring doors for super yachts and boats, walkways, drain covers, handrails and barriers.

Mild steel fabrication:

• Steel portal frames, beams, posts and lintels for the building industry.

• Deck cover plates, stairways, schedule pipe work to ASME code, sling racks, containerized workshops.

• Ducting and panelling, grating supports, safety showers, and more.

• We fabricate all replacement handrails for STOS Maui Platforms using Shed 80 pipe and have them painted. All

handrails come with a QA package for both the fabrication and painting.

Workshop tooling:

• CNC brake press 220ton 4.1metres long

• CNC guillotine 4 metre cut length

• Swage machine

• Heavy duty pipe notching machine

• Tube rollers

• Plate rolls

• Welding machines for all welding process’s

• Extensive range of polishing equipment

Fall Arrest Systems:

Our unique hands-free (patent pending) Fall Arrest System was designed and tested in 2016 by Superior Stainless and is now

fitted to a number of different access ladders on silos, vessels and platforms.

Features:

• Hands free ascent / descent in all planes whether it be horizontal or vertical. • Once hooked onto tensioned wire rope you are completely secure at all stages of the climb • The system will bring you to a complete stop within the 600mm regulation no matter what height you are at. • Easy access right to the top of your silo, vessel or platform • Materials fabricated from 304 Stainless Steel • Our System was certified by QSi Safety in their IANZ accredited laboratory on the 15th June 2016 as compliant with:

6.3.1.1 (fixed anchor devices) and Static tested procedures of AS/NZ5532:2013 (manufacturing requirements single point anchor device for harness-based work at height)
