WHO WE ARE

MZLZ Jsc is the concessionaire of Airport Franjo Tuđman. It took over the management and

control of the airport on December 5th 2013 under 30-year PPP (public-private partnership) con-

cession agreement with the Republic of Croatia.

The history of Zagreb airport starts in 1962 when a passenger terminal was built on this area.

The apron was extended in 1971 and in 1974 the airport was reconstructed. During the following

years, Zagreb was linked to major European cities. A large number of passengers from the Euro-

pean countries and from the other continents were landing at Zagreb airport and today it records

over 2.7 million passengers a year.

This is why it was decided to develop a new terminal building to cope with the traffic increase and

Croatian Government chose to use public-private partnership model, so a very important milestone

happened in 2013 when a concession agreement was signed and MZLZ Jsc became an operator of

Airport Franjo Tuđman.

We have a clear focus and ambition — to deliver a world-class airport experience, across every

part of our passengers’ journeys. We are operating Croatia’s busiest airport and we are par-

ticularly encouraged by the future at the New Passenger Terminal, which will welcome its first

passengers in 2017. This will strengthen our position as the significant hub, improve the airport’s

infrastructure, and make maximum use of the resulting opportunities for earnings and growth.

New facilities and upgrades will enable smarter, faster, safer and better connections in the future.

With innovation, teamwork and new partnerships, we are looking forward to continue strong

achievements and to grow in the short and long-term period. Airport Franjo Tuđman will offer a

worldclass, state of the art facility, with an emphasis on excellent customer service.

WHO WE ARE

MZLZ Jsc is a company registered in Croatia with 6 shareholders bringing international

expertise in airport development, operation, construction, project management

and structured finance.

30 YEARS CONCESSION

Concession agreement is developed in a form of PPP (pub-

lic-private partnership). It includes a plan to develop Airport

Franjo Tuđman through construction of a new passenger

terminal building and other associated infrastructure. New

Passenger Terminal will be opened in 2017 and this project

represents one of the most significant investments in Croatia.

OUR BUSINESS – SERVICES

HANDLING

MZLZ - Ground Handling, Ltd is the operator and sole handling agent

that provides highest standards in handling services. It offers complete

range of services in aircraft, passengers, baggage, cargo and mail

handling. Our references are 54 years of experience and acknowl-

edgements of major airlines for provision by the highest level of han-

dling services. Professional and licensed personnel. All staff pass re-

freshments and DGR training on a regular basis.

CARGO

MZLZ - Ground Handling, Ltd is a registered IATA cargo agent that

provides a wide range of services in handling cargo and mail, and

owns and operates its own cargo terminal.

PARKING AND GROUND TRANSPORT

Parking is available at airport’s open parking lots.

Airport Franjo Tuđman and City of Zagreb are connected with Bus Shuttle service.

CATERING

The quality of our catering services is recognized through our long-standing co-

operation with renowned air carriers, numerous embassies, different tour-op-

erators and third parties. The meals are prepared with full observance of HAC-

CP, according to air carriers’ standards and application of regulations of the

Republic of Croatia and as a member of ITCA (International Travel Catering

Association).

RETAIL

Retail tenant activities include the sale of duty free, food and beverage,

newspapers and books, fashion items, gifts and currency exchange ser-

vices. Duty Free Shop offers world famous brands, brands launched ex-

clusively for the airport and authentic Croatian products to its passengers.

ADVERTISING

Airport Franjo Tuđman has an extensive network of digi-

tal and static advertising sites in terminals, beside access

roads and on car parks, leased to advertising agency.
