In many ways, the world is very different thanit was in 1926 when W. R. MEADOWS, INC.was founded. That was the year the NationalBroadcasting Company (NBC) was organized as the first nationwide radio broadcasting network. Bye, Bye Blackbird was one of the mostpopular songs playing over the airwaves… andHenry Ford shocked industrialists by introducingthe 8-hour, 5-day work week.

In the midst of all the progress and change of the past 80+ years, W. R. MEADOWS has maintained its traditionof “innovative firsts” along with an unwavering commitment to quality. In fact, these two founding tenets remain the cornerstoneof the company’s business philosophy today.

Our products comply with the standards and regulations set by morethan a dozen regulating agencies, including the American Associationof State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), AmericanSociety for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Railway engineeringand Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA®), Federal AviationAssociation (FAA), and the Army Core of Engineers to name a few.
