Discussion on the infographic● Well, here it is finally up and running - my post on Comparative Statistics of ICAI
Members ~ 2014 & 2015 hosted on my website cavsmathur.com. One can see from the infographic that in terms of percentages, the ACA Members in Practice grew at 5.23% as did the ACA Members not in Practice which grew at 5.24%. While the FCA Members absolute growth was only 3019 members (3.96% over PY) the absolute growth of the ACA Members was 7809 members (5.11% over PY). The only number which actually decreased was the FCA in part time practice by 69 members (-2.32% over PY).

Discussion on Infographic (Cont’d)
● Composition of the membership within the years in terms of percentages hovered at 33% for FCA a d 67% for ACA. But on analyzing the inter-percentages between practice and non-practice, the trend remains consistent with last year, i.e. while 84% of FCA's are in practice (full or part) and 16% are in the Industry, in the case of ACA's only 30% as in practice while as many as 70% still continue to serve in the Industry. Wonder how these statistics will shape up over the efflux of time.CA Vikram S. Mathur
