Comparison of Toshiba camera to I phone 6 + I decided to use two cameras in my video as the offered different features that I could use to improve the quality and the professional nature of the video. The video needed to show high quality images all the way though but also capture stable images as the camera would be held most of the time in order to record moving people and objects. At the beginning of the project I researched camera’s that I could use and talked to the staff media technician about college cameras and different types and what features can create what effects, I decided not to use the college cameras as I felt that I had equal quality of camera at home for the music video as well as photo-shoot, this also meant that I was able to go to different locations freely and of my own choosing without having to bring the equipment back due to lend deadlines, this had big positives as it gave me the time to really focus on the different shots and location times and saved time in the sign in and out process that would have made it more difficult I felt to complete the filming on all of my chosen locations. I have done many test shoots with the cameras some include the lighting effect demonstrations in various locations to show the different lighting styles that I would be using or thinking about in the video. I have used the Toshiba camera a lot for filming and it works well in very well lit places and has high quality hd recording which is useful to match other cameras that I might use as I want to avoid a change in resolution or quality in the music

Comparison of Toshiba camera to I phone 6 +

I decided to use two cameras in my video as the offered different features that I could use to improve the quality and the professional nature of the video. I have used the Toshiba camera a lot for filming and it works well in very well lit places and has high quality hd recording which is useful to match other cameras that I might use as I want to avoid a change in resolution or quality in the music video as it will look unprofessional. The iPhone 6 plus is something that is brand new and something I have not had for a while so I did not have that amount of time to play with its features although I have had a look online at some of the capabilities it has that I could have used in the production of the music video. This device has quite a lot to offer and as I was in the early planning stages I was keen to try out some of the features to see if I could adapt them or enlarge them for the real production video. I really feel that I have been able to use the cameras in the best possible way because the Toshiba camera is better for still standing shots but is heavier and thicker than the iPhone 6+ which is lighter thinner and does not go out of focus very easily which allows for fast pan and tilt movements.

Below I have included a image of both cameras to show the similarities in quality and resolution and how that benefited the video.
