Note: This is a non residential program ; the training fee includes training charges, participant manual. Lunch and refreshments on days of training and Certificate.
Person should undertake to follow Covid-19 related protocols on social distancing, wearing masks and hand sanitization during the duration of the program.
RT-PCR test results taken within 72 hours of program start date should be shown on the 1st day of the program.
Temperature will be taken at regular intervals during the program and person with temperature above normal body temperature will not be permitted to attend further.

CURRICULUM IN DETAIL
Module One: (Classroom)This “Competent Person” course provides detailed instruction in Scaffold hazard recognition and common safety issues including a thorough discussion of OSHA regulations 29 CFR Subpart L-Scaffolding & BS-EN Standard requirements.
The purpose of this course is to provide Scaffold Erectors & Inspectors with the regulations, safety guidelines and procedures needed to recognize and eliminate hazards in the field.
Focus will also be given to understanding terminologies being used in Scaffolding, various types of couplers & its usage, various types of bracing, Scaffold Measurements, Inspection of Scaffold materials and detailed measures to prevent fall of men and materials from Scaffolds.
Enabling objectives include specifying General Requirements for Tube & Coupler Scaffolds and System Scaffolds.
Module Two: (Classroom)This module deals with the selection of good foundation, Base plates , Treader plates, Base lifts, Near Excavation, Bracing, Ties, Raker, Outrigger, Guys, Construction method of working platform, Gaps in working platform, Protection in working platform, Inspection of lifting equipment. How to lift & lower Scaffold materials, Various types of knots, Hierarchy of Scaffold access, Condition, Position, Clearances & Usage of Ladders and procedure of step by step Scaffold erection. procedure.
Module Three: (Classroom + Practical) This module deals with basic Scaffold design & loading, how to calculate the weight of Scaffolds, Basic design concepts and hands on training outside yard in Step by step Scaffold erection includes, effective tool box talk, how to inspect the base foundation area, inspect the area before erection of Scaffolds, how to straighten the Scaffold by bracings, safe method for Scaffolder anchoring point during Scaffold erection, Laying the planks as per standard requirements, and Techniques used to construct the guardrails.
Module Four: (Classroom + Practical) This module deals with the continuing of hands on training outside yard, responsibility of Scaffold supervisor & inspector, uses of Scaffold tags and how to fill Scaffold tags, methodology to carryout Scaffold stagewise inspection and deliver reports, suggestions to provide rectifications, Preparing of log register, and step by step Scaffold dismantling activity which includes the correct sequences to be adopted during Scaffold dismantling activities and arrange the materials In a correct way.
