Project : “UNIRE/UNITE”Date : July 2012Location : MAXXI Museum, RomeDesigner : Urban Movement DesignDescription : UNIRE/UNITE responds to the current public health crisis by offering an alternative solution to traditional urban furniture that choreographs exercise and play back into our daily lives. Urban Movement Design believes it is imperative that we rethink the way we live and change the disabling, sedentary lifestyles that are currently promoted by our built environment. A variety of body positions and yoga-inspired exercises are integrated into the design, creating the “Infinity System” that is meant to activate, strengthen, cleanse, and balance the mind and body.

Project : “Timothy Hatton Architects CC Pavilion”Date : 23.09.11Location : London, UK Description: “Timothy Hatton Architects (THA) collaborated with Concrete Canvas to construct a striking free-standing pavilion for London Design Festival 2011. The structure, located next to the THA offices by the Ladbroke Grove canal, experimented with form and shape. Timothy Hatton Architects, whose portfolio includes art galleries and private houses, have challenged themselves to design a structure that pushes the boundaries of the technology of CC and its use. The temporary nature of the structure enabled the team to be radical in their experimentation whilst keeping in mind the ultimate aim; translating their ideas into viable solutions for permanent structures.”Contact : [email protected]
