Complaint letter Dear Mr Johnson, I am writing to complain about my visit to your restaurant two days ago. I read your advertisement in the local newspaper and decided to spend an evening there with my friend. Unfortunately, I have some complaints concerning this visit. First of all, according to your advertisement the restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner. However, the music was so loud that we could hardly hear each other. Moreover, the waiter was quite rude when we asked if he could turn it down. To make matters worse, we had to wait for nearly 45 minutes to be served our meal after we had ordered it. When the meal did finally arrive, it was cold and inedible. In view of my complaints I would like a full refund. I trust you will give this matter immediate attention.
