Friends, today is the day to look back and contemplate on how complete

is our independence



Is Independence day just a long weekend and a

mere holiday for us?



at-least on August 15th?



Do we ever sit and think about complete



Are we still not ruled by practices, which are not

meant for our culture?



Let us celebrate this August 15th by redefining

COMPLETE INDEPENDENCE…



India has been the largest contributor to the rest of the world

since ages…

, , , , , ,

medicine, science, spirituality;

We have a long legacy to celebrate.



A legacy, which came to us because of originality, not duplicity.

Let us stop or at-least reduce blindly following the western traditions whichdon’t suit our society and relive the sanctity of being a proud INDIAN



Folly of the WISE

Where every principled approach / practice looks impractical,

While every harmful practice looks natural / fashionable



Have you ever noticed that the Western and European nations have only

,

While we blindly follow everything, without differentiation.



While they learn YOG, Ayurved, Meditation, and various other beneficial

techniques and practice it for good,

We practice eating noodles, bread, allopathy, pubs, discos, dining on a table,

western toilets, and what not



It has become an integral part of our routine and that

too at the cost of our rich and scientific traditionalpractices.



They eat in standing/ chair sitting posture because of the stiffness of

muscles as they live in colder climate, and we follow this out of fashion in ourmarriages and other such functions.

They eat bread as they can’t make chapatees because of climatic conditions ,

but we eat sandwiches out of taste, and end up in gastro intestinal problems

We’ve forgotten our Ayurved and follow Allopathy . Ayurved stresses on

prevention whereas Allopathy focuses on cure.

They consume alcohol before and after meal to facilitate digestion of bread

products, while we loiter after drinking and feel that it’s a rich culture.

They use chair style seating arrangements in their washrooms, because of

body stiffness, but we follow it as fashion statement.



By saying all this we are not discouraging an openness to learning, but we are

appealing to all the readers that this independence day, let us start thinking

rationally on which practice of the west fits, and is meaningful to our gloriousculture.



Let us start learning Timeliness from West,

Cleanliness from Europeans,

Keeping word and promise from Germans,

Dedication to work from Ja anese,

Innovation from Chinese,

and also revive the Indian culture by practicing its meaningful rituals,

science and spirituality.



This Independence day, let us stop for a

moment and rethink….



Is being free citizen our destination

& being independent without discriminationWhere there is no place for cast & creeds

With people respecting each other and doing deeds!

OrDo we ask where is love, respect in our nation

With so much hatred, pain and suffocation

Casting shadows of pessimism

and saying follow the Gandhism!



Let’s starts a new visionBe a true PROGRESSIVE INDIAN!`



This Independence day, diya appeals that let’s do something truly Indian, whichcan make us feel and say, that I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN.

It could be anything….• Not just wearing Khadi but thinking about adopting/promoting domestic products,• Hosting flag in your locality,• Serving the poor and needy,• Reading about Freedom struggle, Father of Nation, other freedom fighters.

• & most importantly, give an honest thought to where our nation has reached after6 decades of independence, and where do we want it to go further, because weare the future of the country and its our action plan, which will shape things up
