• Better interference immunity due to the design of Unshielded Twisted Pair design
• Longer transmission distances when compares to coaxial cables.
• Able to carry Power, Video and Data signal simultaneously in a single Cat5 cable.
• Built in Transient Protection.
• Built in ground loop isolation.
• Better cable management.
• Easier installation and troubleshooting when compares to coaxial cable or fiber optic.
• Lower installation cost:
a. 1 single Cat5 is able to carry the video signal of 4 cameras.
b. With a maximum distance of 1.8km, cable costing is much cheaper compares to Fiber Optic
c. With built in Transient protection and ground loop isolator, no additional surge protector and ground loop isolator
is needed.
d. Lower labour cost as fewer cables will be used.
