Preventive, Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry for you and your family.

Looking Ahead!January: What better time than January to have a Celebration of Life month? Let it be the start of a determined effort to make the most of everything that comes your way.

February is American Heart Month & Children’s Dental health Month. Not by coincidence are these together, your dental health can directly affect your heart health and of course it is always best to start learning any preventative measures at an early age.

New Year, New Insurance!

Don’t forgot to let us know before you come in if you have new or updated dental insurance, so we can update your information in time for your appointment.

We ran our annual Halloween Candy Buy Back competition again in 2014 and collected just over 69lbs of candy for the Food Gatherers of Ann Arbor. The winner of the Family Movie Gift Card Raffle Draw was Derrick Ilich of Express Employment Professionals. Congratulations Derek!

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Colorectal cancer can be a preventable cancer. Knowing the signs and symptoms of colon cancer and understanding your risk may stop a cancer occurrence. www.fightcolorectalcancer.org March is also Nutrition Month. In 2015 the theme is “Bite into a healthy lifestyle” encouraging everyone to adopt healthy eating and physical activity plans that are focused on consuming fewer calories, making informed food choices and getting daily exercise in order to achieve and maintain a healthy weight and promote overall health.

April is Cancer Awareness Month. Last year in October, Tina’s husband Jim sadly passed away from Esophageal Cancer. Try and be aware of symptoms of the major cancers, many are silent symptoms. Esophageal cancer for instance can be caused by persistent exposure to heartburn and acid reflux. If you have any concerns, talk to your doctor. You are not silly to be worried, get checked, it may save your life or the life of a loved one. www.ecaware.org.

May: We will be at the Touch a Truck event in May again in 2015. Held at the Ypsilanti High School, all kinds of trucks and public service vehicles on display for the big and little kids to check out and clamber on. Many organizations offering services for families with children also attend and hand out information. Date to be advised.

June: Yes, it’s that time of year again! National Smile Month. Beautiful sunny warm weather, what’s not to smile about? Remember to keep up with your regular cleaning and exams to keep those pearly whites white and healthy. Why not try a whitening program? We offer in-office or take home whitening systems. Call 734-485-2200 and ask for details.
