ThisprepcourseisfortheCompostingCertificationexam,issuedjointlybySWANAandtheU.S.CompostingCouncil(USCC);professionalswhomanageorwouldliketomanagecomposting programs will be exposed to the various opportunities for composting agricultural and industrial waste. This course will enable you to turn your program into a successful and cost-effective operation by gaining an understanding in both the composting of materials and the full range of technologies involved in planning, designing and operating composting systems.

CoursE CoNTENT: This 3-day course consists of presentation by David Hill, the Programs instructor;classroomexercises,casestudies,andapossiblehalf-daytourandfieldexercise.Please bring a calculator capable of handling seven digits for class activities.

CErTiFiCaTioN:CertificationcandidatesneedtoregisterandapplytositforSWANA’sCertificationExam,whichisathree-hourexam.Youneedtoregisterspecificallyfortheexamifyouwishtotakeitinordertobecomecertified.
