Charmaine looked around her room. There were many posters on the wall

decided to give her grandmother something else.

Charmaine’s grandmother was in the hospital and Charmaine’s mother was

going to visit her that afternoon. When Mrs Lee was about to leave the house,

Charmaine handed her a card that she had made herself. She had used glue to

stick dried petals on the front of the card. Using a crayon, she had written three

words on the card, in her best handwriting. The words expressed her hope that
