Comprehensive Training in the Most Efficient Way PossibleOur new, localized 6x6 Combination Format will allow you to get the highest levels of education through a mix of six modules (6 days each) of intense hands-on training, online study (with thousands of cases, videos, exercises and principles), and continual communication with your instructor. This format allows even the busiest dentists to learn at the highest levels, with flexible study anytime, anywhere.

HIGH-TECH TEACHING Our students have the best technology to make orthodontics the most effective and stable. You will learn to use the most robust orthodontic software, IPSoft™, to assist you in creating the optimal treatment plan for each patient, making sure that every detail is analyzed before the case starts to give the highest chance of success for each patient.You will use will include digital cephalometric analysis, model measuring, visual treatment objectives and over 150 treatment plan templates. With the aid of a computer, you will diagnoses the teeth, bone structure, and facial profile to develop the world-class treatment plans your patients’ desire.

Affiliations & CE CreditsInternational Medical College Our curriculum is recognized by the IMC Joint Degree University Program to offer our graduates a joint academic degree. All participating universities—Dresden, Essen, Saarland, Leipzig, Szeged (Hungary)—have jointly coordinated and matched the theoretical content and the implementation of seminars and internships. This “Master of Science in Specialized Orthodontics” degree was successfully accredited on the 19th February 2013 in accordance with the Bologna Criteria system by the Accreditation Agency AQAS which is certified by the Accreditation Council of Germany. The final examination will be conducted by an examination committee according to the regulations of the scientific advisory board of the IMC Joint Program. The degree will be awarded in an official ceremony by one dean of the Joint Program and the scientific director of the IMC due to the demands of the Science Council of Germany. All participating universities are eligible to award the academic degree of the Master of Science.

Academy of General Dentistry The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry as affiliated with Progressive Orthodontics & Dentistry is an Approved PACE Program Provider, recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry. AGD accepts our seminars for Fellowship, Mastership and Membership Maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance or endorsement by AGD or a state or provincial board. The current term of approval extends from May 2, 1988 to May 31, 2017.

American Dental Association The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry as affiliated with Progressive Orthodontics & Dentistry is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry designates each day of seminar for 8 hours continuing education credits.

InstructorDr. Sarmad N. Yassen

is an international instructor at the McGann Postgraduate School of Dentistry and has taught across the USA, Asia and the Middle East. He received his Oral & Maxillofacial practitioner degree from MOH Basra, and taught at the College of Dentistry Basra in Iraq. He has also studied extensively in the USA and Germany and will earn his MSc in Specialized Orthodontics diploma in October.
