NOTE: Science subjects will be offered to the students who are
considered to handle the subject taught.
Additional Mathematics will be offered to the studentswho show excellent performance (at least 75% inmathematics of classVIII final examination.)
Approval of subject selection by the school will bebased on the result of the Annual examination of classVIII. It will be at the discretion of the schoolmanagement to confirm the student’s choice of thesubjects.
After 1st September 2013, the selection of subjectgroups will be considered final and no changes will bepermitted.
The IBCC (Intermediate board committee ofchairman)requires that for Science candidates thesubjects should be Physics, Chemistry andBiology/Computer studies.

Note:
AS Level English Language (CIE Syllabus Code 8693) is compulsory for all students.
Students are strongly advised NOT to register for a set of subjects for which they do not have an O-level background, specially pure science to pure commerce or vice versa.
Students who have not studied Additional Mathematics in the O levels and have average mathematical skills are advised to reconsider opting for A level Mathematics.
Students who have not studied O level Economics are also advised not to select Economics as one of their subjects.
Students who wish to take A level Computing must have studied Computer Studies at the O Level.
Students who wish to take Art and Design will have to sit for an aptitude test.
Students who wish to take Literature must have strong Language skills, be avid readers and a keen desire to take the subject.
