1. Turn In Your Permit Application

Depending on the state where you took your class your instructor might take care of the paperwork for you but more likely you need to put some things in the mail or make a trip to a local government office to complete your application. This is your #1 priority right now.

2. Quick Access Safe

You should own a safe before you even own a gun so make this a top priority. You don't need just any safe but one that can be put in a bedroom or the place you think you will need emergency access. In addition to being relatively small it should be easy and fast to open in an emergency, be able to secure it to furniture or the home in someway, and obviously be strong and durable. 3. Concealed Carry Firearm

A lot of people already own a gun before taking a class but with an increased amount of knowledge and education you may want to evaluate if that is the best gun for you. If not, its time to make a new purchase. 4. Defensive Ammo (Hollow Points)

5. Concealed Carry Holster
