1. TOP DISPLAY AREAthis area of the display will work as “signage”. When the installation is in use this area of the display will still be un-covered and can communicate the installations purpose to persons walking past in a distance.
2. MAIN INTERACTION AREAin average persons height and hand reach.
3. SECONDARY INTERACTION AREAthis area is in kids height. Since kids usually are companied by adults it would be natural to utilize their curiousity and therefor attract adult users.
Another argument would be that if you attract kids to the installation, adults would be less reserved interacting with it...

Visualization princeple:
Where events happening more than1 hour ahead in time are blurred and smallerthan ongoing events.
As you can see, this is an awful amount ofinformation that clutters up the screen, and makes everything look chaotic....
I could make them smaller, but this wouldmake them unreadable when projected.
SOLUTION
a) Just let 10-15 events be visible at the same time, and then shuffle trough events over time, say 1 minute per event...
b) Use 3D to visualize content

Here I have used 4 events fromeach category, but also 4 from eachsub category.
SEE has an awful amountof events occuring at this time, so I haveused 4 from theatre, 4 from movies and so forth. And color coded them in huesof pink.
The thought is to let max. 20 events bevisible at the time and then shuffle troughevents over time. Say 1 minute pr event.
