About Us

Metacil’s Pre-Engineered Buildings division, METACIL, assures the capability to produce hundreds of custom designed steel buildings each year. METACIL's techno-centric atmosphere has led it to develop cung edge technologies, customized sowares and an advanced ERP system which has provided it with a significant advantage over its peers when it comes to project build mes and designs. METACIL buildings provide an ideal soluon to complex and expensive convenonal steel buildings without undermining important details like ulity and funconality.

METACIL buildings can be fied with different structural accessories including mezzanine floors, canopies, fascias, interior parons etc. and the building is made water proof by use of special masc beads, filler strips and trims. This is very versale buildings systems and can be finished internally to serve any funcons and accessorized externally to achieve aracve and unique designing styles.

The METACIL Design and Engineering department has a team of highly qualified engineers, checkers, detailers, designers and architects. The innovave output of these experts precedes every part of the calculaons to enable consultants, worldwide, to understand every facet of the design of a METACIL building

The Metacil producon facilies at Kashipur is are equipped with the latest and most sophiscated manufacturing equipment with quality management systems that are compliant with ISO 9001 standards. Octamec has executed some of the largest and most complex PEBs in India which has helped it develop one of the best project management teams in the country.

GO GREEN is Metacil's very own initiative towards creating a cleaner and greener environment. Our commitment towards sav ing our continuously depleting natural resources has led to us offering our clients a variety of green building options that help mitigate energy consumption. Metaci l is a member of the Indian Green Bui lding Council ( IGBC) and follows the practice of creating structures and using processes that are environmentally responsible and resourceefficient throughout a building's life-cycle: design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition. This practice expands and complements the classical building design concerns of economy, utility, durability, and comfort.

Recyclability METACIL’s structural members, wall & roof panels are made of steel and are completely recyclable once disassembled. Insulated Panels METACIL’s superior and uniform insulation systems leads to a reduction in energy usage offering energy savings of 12%-14%.

Solar Reflectivity METACIL's roofs reflect almost all of the sun's heat back into the sky instead of absorbing the heat into the building.

Energy Conservation Systems METACIL helps incorporate Air Conditioning Systems with evaporative condensers which help save as much as 40% on condensing energy. Natural Ventilation Our wind driven turbo and ridge vents ensure natural ventilation at absolutely no operational costs as they run entirely on wind energy. Rainwater Harvesting METACIL’s unique gutter and downspout system can be used for rainwater harvesting.

Cool Roofs METACIL's paint colours on our roof profiles help mitigate heat generated by sunray.

METACIL AdvantageReduced construction time :Buildings are typically delivered in just a few weeks aer approval of drawings. Foundaon and anchor bolts are cast parallel with finished, ready for the site bolng. METACIL reduces total construcon me of the project by at at least 50%. This also allows faster occupancy and earlier realizaon of revenue

Lower costs Due to the systems approach, there is a significant saving in design, manufacturing and on site erecon cost. The secondary members and cladding nest together reducing transportaon cost

Flexibility of expansion :Buildings can be easily expanded in length by adding addional bays. Also expansion in width and height is possible by pre designing for future expansion

Large clear spans :Buildings can be supplied to around 80M clear spans.

Quality control :As buildings are manufactured completely in the factory under controlled conditions the quality is assured

Low maintenance :Buildings are supplied with high quality paint systems for cladding and steel to suit ambient conditions at the site, which results in long durability and low maintenance coats

Energy efficient roofing and wall systems :Buildings can be supplied with polyurethane insulated panels or fiberglass blankets insulation to achieve required “U” values.

Architectural versatility :Building can be supplied with various types of fascias, canopies, and curved eaves and are designed to receive pre cast concrete wall panels, curtain walls, block walls and other wall systems.

As the complete building package is supplied by a single vendor, compatibility of all the building components and accessories is assured. This is one of the major benefits of the pre engineered building systems.

Why METACIL?

05

METACIL Pre-Engineered Buildings are pre-detailed and pre-designed and are manufactured in a quality controlled factory atmosphere. At this stage each process is carried out employing sophisticated technologies that include the application of advanced welding techniques and standardization of components. Such procedures facilitate mass production. METACIL uses high strength steel for better strength/weight ratio and is also ideal for construction in remote areas and hilly terrains as a major part of the construction activities are carried out at factory level. Most importantly METACIL construction is 30% to 40 % faster than the conventional or masonry construction. Timely completion and professional execution are the hallmark of the company. We believe in delivering on our commitments . This is why our clients rewards us with so much repeat business-over 70% of our projects come from existing clients who have confidence in our ability to meet their expectations without compromising on quality.

Quick and efcient since standardization of PEB has signicantly reduced design time. Basic designs are used over and over.

A.I.C.S., M.B.M.A, A.W.S

About 30% lighter through the efcient use of steel Primary steel members are selected from standard hot rolled “I” sections which in many cases are heavier thanwhat is actually required by design.

Delivery

Simple design, easy to construct and light weight Extensive, heavy foundations required

Designed to t the system with standardized interchangeable parts.

Every project required special design for accessories and special sourcing for each

Average 6 to 8 weeks Average 5 to 6 months

Easy, fast, step by step. Erection cost & time are accurately known, based upon extensive experience with similar buildings.

Slow, extensive eld labor required. Typically 20% moreexpensive than PEB. In most of the cases, the erection cost and time are not estimated accurately.

Outstanding architectural design can be achieved at low cost.

Special architectural design requires research and high cost

Price per square meter may be as much as 40% lower than conventional steel.

High price per square meter.

Building is supplied complete with cladding and allaccessories, including erection if desired, all from one source of supply

Many sources of supply. Increases Project management time

Very exible, tailor made, accepts changes and revisions easily

Changes, revisions and additions can be difcult due to extensive redesign and coordination among suppliers and subcontractors.

Each conventional steel structure is designed from scratchby the consultant, with fewer design aids available to theEngineer. Maximum engineering required on every project.

Responsibility Single source of supply result in total responsibility for one supplier, including design liability.

Multiple responsibilities can result in questions of who is responsible when things go wrong, particularly at supplier interfaces

PerformanceAll components have been specied and designedspecically to act together as a system for maximumefciency, precise t-up, and performance in the eld

Components are designed in general for possible use in many alternative congurations. Design and detailing errors are possible in assembling diverse components into unique buildings.

It is a kind of custom made warehouse, vastly used as warehouse, workshop, supermarket, refrigeraon store, show room, shopping mall, storage. etc. We just need the locaon climate like the local wind, snow and so on for our engineer, then they can design the steel structure exactly. We can provide the service of designing, installaon, supervision and training by extra. Regarding to the house details, please check as follows:
