HOW TO USE

• Turn on a timer/stopwatch.• Hold up one card at a time for your student. • They must name each note and play it on the piano.• Stop the clock once you've gotten through all the flashcards in the level and note the time.• Students must get a time under 60 seconds three weeks in a row to complete the level.

You can find stickers to mark their achievement and posters to display in your studio here.

ASSEMBLYApprentice level:

• Print out the tracking chart (page 3) and keep it in your student's folder to fill in each week.• Print out the flashcards (pages 6-9) double-sided, cut along the dotted lines and laminate if desired.

Superstar level:

LEARNING OBJECTIVEMastering instant recognition of notes and relating them directly to the pi-ano keys can take a lot of practice. These challenges provide a great incen-tive to accelerate students towards that goal.
