The basic air washer performance data of humidifying efficiency and air side pressure was measured and correlated as follows,
For conservative concern, a 90% saturation efficiency will be used for air washer design.
The air side pressure drop will be smaller than 40Pa at normal design conditions.

Cross contamination is a prevalent phenomena in FAB exterior and interior.
It will bring losses to FAB operation accompanying the shrink of device critical dimension.
A new application of FTIR combined with process trace gas database is proposed for such new era of semiconductor manufacturing.
The application of air washer in MAU already becomes a standard requirement for semiconductor and TFT industry. And a new design concept of air washer also proposed for better chemical removal efficiency and lower power consumption.
