March 18, 2018 4:00pm Kennett Symphony Children's Chorus Founded in 1990 by Karen L. Markey, the Kennett Symphony Children’s Chorus is a community organization for boys and girls grades K through 12. The Chorus is an educational outreach of the Kennett Symphony of Chester County and gives qualified singers an opportunity to perform high-caliber, age-appropriate repertoire that is culturally and musically diverse while nurturing vocal and musical development within a group setting. Numbering more than 80 singers, the choristers represent public, private, parochial and home schools in the Chester County, Lancaster County, Delaware Valley, Montgomery County, and the Northern Delaware Region. May 6, 2018 4:00 pm Trevor Gordon Hall Rated one of the top 30 guitarists in the world under 30 years of age by Acoustic Guitar magazine, Trevor Gordon Hall is an instrumentalist from Philadelphia whose compositions range in style from edgy driving rhythms to soft melodic phrases. Trevor sets himself apart by leaving no physical aspect of the guitar untouched and weaving together different textures into grand yet intimate and lyrical compositions. Trevor continues to tour playing his custom designed "Kalimbatar" for audiences all over North America, UK, Europe, Asia and South America, including a recent debut at the iconic Carnegie Hall in NYC. With high praise from industry greats including Steve Hackett, Graham Nash, Pat Martino, Tommy Emmanuel and more, Trevor continues to develop his blend of sounds that focus on utilizing the instrument’s fullest creative and compositional potential, guiding listeners through an igniting experience of music that isn’t just heard but felt." October 29, 2017 4:00pm John Maurer John Maurer is recognized as an “exhilarating and very versatile trumpet performer and educator” Jose Sibaja, lead trumpet, Boston Brass. John has performed in various venues around North America and conducted a number of residencies and masterclasses in many renowned colleges and universities. Johm has been privileged enough to perform as a soloist for public figures such as The Rev. Jesse L. Jackson and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

December 10, 2017 4:00pm A Cappella Pops A Cappella Pops will put you in the mood for the season with their dynamic new holiday offering Be of Good Cheer. This fun-filled show will feature all the songs you love, from traditional carols to timeless favorites, with a few delightful surprises thrown in.

Pops has been entertaining audiences around the region and beyond for 17 years, performing at Carnegie Hall, the White House and just about everywhere in between. With exquisite eight-part harmonies and a brisk, infectious style, this 25-voice chorus brings new life to a host of jazz, contemporary and show tunes as well as a wide-ranging holiday repertoire.
