Event Overview: Concert for the Cause

6:30pm- Midnight

Concert for the Cause is an exciting event, hosted by a dedicated committee of Louisville locals who all

share a passion for helping children with cancer. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Kids Cancer

Alliance for their programs for kids with cancer and their families. The event raised over $250,000 for

Kentucky children with cancer in 2015 and with your help it can make an even bigger impact in 2016!

The event will feature entertainment by established and rising stars. Guests will also be able to take part in

a lively silent and live auction with one-of-a-kind packages and prizes. Event also features a delicious dinner

and open bar.

This special evening gives our guests and sponsor partners a chance to come together and make a difference

in the lives of children with cancer and their family members who are affected by this terrible disease.

Expected attendance is between 500-600 guests, and will include local celebrities and prominent business

and community leaders.

Kids Cancer Alliance has been in operation for 35 years serving over 4,000 children and families affected by

childhood cancers. Kids Cancer Alliance’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for children with cancer

and their families through recreational and support programs. Kids Cancer Alliance strives to give kids back

the part of their childhood that cancer took away. Because Kids Cancer Alliance understands the financial

strain that cancer puts on families, they provide all of their programs free of charge and rely

100% on donations from individuals, businesses, and from events such as this. Your business

could be instrumental in helping Kids Cancer Alliance change the lives of children with cancer.

One in every 300 children will be diagnosed with cancer before their 20th birthday. Cancer is the leading

cause of death from disease in children. Nationally, an estimated 13,500 new cases of cancer will occur

among children this year. Childhood cancer does not just impact the child, but also has a devastating effects

on the family members whose loved ones are diagnosed with the disease.

By becoming a sponsor of “Concert for the Cause” supporting Kids Cancer Alliance, you are helping
