Concert Report: Due 12/7/12

Please attend a “professional” concert, preferable one that is directly

related to the class you are in (i.e. orchestra students should try to see a

professional orchestra, jazz band students should try to see a jazz band,

etc.)

Write a two page report (double-spaced, size 12 font) highlighting events

from the concert. The first page should provide a brief summary of the

event – where the concert took place, the kind of ensemble, the music they

played, etc. A short history of the ensemble/music would be appropriate.

The second page should provide an in-depth analysis of the Musical

Elements that you hear. Please be as descriptive as possible.
