Due to the current buildings works at the McEwan Hall, our forthcoming series of lunchtime concerts has been moved from the Reid Concert Hall. Tuesday lunchtime concerts will be held in the City of Edinburgh Methodist Church and Friday lunchtime concerts will be in the Playfair Library Hall or Greyfriars Kirk. The Reid Concert Hall will continue to be used for concerts in the evenings and at weekends.

Reid Concert Hall – Bristo Square, Edinburgh EH8 9AHPedestrian access to the main entrance is via Teviot Place. A wheelchair lift is provided at the east door accessed from Bristo Square.
Greyfriars Kirk - Greyfriars Place, Edinburgh, EH1 2QQAccess to the church is via the gate in Greyfriars Place, through the Kirkyard and into the church via the vestibule. No parking of vehicles is allowed in the Kirkyard, with the exception of those dropping off disabled persons.
City of Edinburgh Methodist Church - 25 Nicolson Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9BXThe concerts will take place in the large hall on the upper floor. Please enter via the Well Café on ground floor level and take the stairs or lift to the hall.
Playfair Library Hall - Old College, South Bridge, Edinburgh, EH8 9YLPedestrian access to the Old College Quadrangle is via the entrance at South Bridge, or at West College Street. There is no vehicular access permitted into Old College Quadrangle. Arrangements for disabled access to the Playfair Library Hall (which is situated on the upper floor of the building) can be made in advance - telephone 0131 650 8008.

The world’s oldest purpose-built museum of musical instruments displays its collection in Victorian cases still containing their original glass. European wind, bowed string and percussion instruments are on display, as is a selection of instruments from around the world.
