Concerts in the Courtyard Acoustic Music Produced by Music is the Foundation Sit back and listen to the finest in acoustic music from the state, region, and country in our great-sounding, beautiful, flower-lined courtyard. A portion of the proceeds go to benefit music programs in our area schools and community. All shows at 7:30 pm on alternate Thursdays in June, July, August, and September. Tickets are $15, available in advance at our store or at the door. June 12: Mark Stuart Here’s a chance to catch Mark, one of Nashville’s best guitar-slingers and sidemen, stepping out on his own, showcasing his considerable chops and clever wit. June 26: Victoria Vox Vox is Latin for “voice” and Victoria has a beautiful one to accompany her ukulele on some of the catchiest songs you’ll ever hear. July 10: Mike Skory & Lisa Bonotto Mike is the long-time keyboardist for Root Doctor and co-wrote many of the band’s best songs with Lisa. A fun duo that will have you dancing in your seats. July 24: Rachael Davis One of our favorite area singers returns for this very special show. As Susan Werner said, “We don’t have Eva Cassidy anymore, but we do have Rachael Davis.” August 7: Elden Kelly Elden’s trio blew away the crowd in the courtyard last year. A unique blend of jazz with a broad range of music traditions from around the world. August 21: Stella! Stella! is an all-women, American roots band from southeast Michigan featuring Jo Serrapere, Jen Sygit, Laura Ann Bates, and Diana Ladio. Great harmonies, musicianship, and songwriting. September 11: Tim Grimm Songwriter, author, and actor, Grimm walks the fine line between folk and country, while maintaining a strong footing in Midwest tradition. September 25: The Springtails & The Ukulele Kings Performing a variety of songs from standards to more recent pop and folk tunes and originals, The Springtails are Andy & Julianna Wilson singing and playing ukulele, harmonica, and pocket trumpet.
