Blockfill

High Strength

Tremmie

� Concrete placed by tremmie tubes with minimal segregation into barrier walls, bridge supports, piles and underwater applications.

Piling Grout

Environmentally-Friendly

Keep water in…or out.

HytightTM offers a reduced water-absorption rate. It is durable, easy to place and alongside an engineered waterproofing system, lets you build in wet or damp areas with confidence.

Suits tough industrial environments

HytightTM demonstrates reduced permeability when it comes into contact with water, carbon dioxide and oxygen. This makes it perfect for water tanks, sewers and other aggressive applications.

Minimises dampness and leaks

HytightTM helps prevent the deterioration of internal finishes, as well as health hazards like mould formation.

Ease of application

Unlike other conventional concretes developed for aquatic uses, Hymix can supply HytightTM at a high consistency. It is easy to place and can be pumped over long distances.

Getting stung by the cost of downtime during repairs? Need to meet tight project deadlines? With HysetTM, you can get the job done quickly.

HysetTM uses accelerator technology to reach initial set times faster than conventional concrete. It is laid in the same way as conventional concrete, making it suitable for all normal ready-mix applications.

HysprayHyspray is a strictly graded, wet-mix shotcrete product. With excellent workability and flow, Hyspray provides total design freedom. In fact, its versatility has seen it become the choice for builders on a variety of projects, ranging from swimming pools, to bank vaults, underground tunnels, sculptures and even zoological structures.

High compressive strength

Hystrength offers compressive strength over 60 MPa.

Less materials

Hymix’s quality assurance With NATA certified laboratories in New South Wales and Queensland, Hymix uses state-of-the-art production technology to ensure our concrete meets the highest level of product performance and AS1379 specifications.

Each laboratory contains a highly qualified technical team that is ready to work with you to:

� Formulate mix proportions for unusual applications.

� Test concrete for compliance with project specifications.

� Take samples on-site to determine fresh concrete properties.

� Provide advice at on-site start-up meetings on all pour-planning needs, selecting the right concrete mixes and the post-pour care of your concrete.

1. HycolourTM

Give sufficient notice when ordering

To ensure availability of your chosen HycolourTM concrete product, a minimum notice period applies.

Notify order taker of total job requirement

If your project is to be completed over an extended period of time, notify the order taker of the likely time period and the total project requirement at the time of placing the first order.

Use reputable concreters and finishers

Don’t add water

Hymix recommends that your coloured concrete be adequately cured and an appropriate surface treatment be applied to keep it looking good year after year. For maximum effect, we recommend that surface treatments be reapplied periodically as per the manufacturers specification.

Care when using surface sealers

Whilst Hymix recommends the use of sealers on the HycolourTM

range, care must be taken to test the sealer first for possible effects to the colour and gloss of the surface.

Concrete joints

Ensure joint spacing and positioning is well designed to minimise the chance of cracking and also to complement your design.

Placement

Any sample of aggregate or finished product shown to you is only indicative and illustrative of the type of finish to be achieved and no guarantee is given that the finished product will conform to this sample.

2. HytightTM

Hymix does not guarantee watertight or impermeable structures when permeability reducing or waterproofing admixtures are requested to be added to concrete. Watertight, impermeable structures are only achieved through a combination of appropriate concrete mix design and careful attention to proper placing and curing practices to eliminate voids or defects.

The availability of the HytightTM concrete range is subject to state-variations.

Guidelines for using HytightTM concrete on-site:

Formwork

In the formwork, any joints must be sufficiently tight and sealed to

prevent any leaking of liquid grout from the concrete.

Steel reinforcement

The design and fixing of steel reinforcement is particularly important to minimise problems like crack formation, obstruction of joint sealing systems and congested reinforcement.

Compaction

Compaction is critical to achieve a dense, durable and low-permeability concrete.

Concrete curing

Thorough and correct curing is essential to ensure your HytightTM concrete achieves the highest level of quality.
