JC Ferrero-Equelite Sport Academy prides itself as a worldwide well-known high performance academy, located in Villena, Spain. The academy was founded in 1990 by Antonio Martinez Cascales. When the academy first opened its doors to the World, it had only 2 courts, nowadays we are proud to say that our academy is one of the best high performance academy in the world , with 20 courts of all kinds’ surfaces and many more world-class facilities.

Since the beginning, the Academy works to get the best out of the players. Antonio Martinez Cascales’ purpose was to have the best facilities and conditions for the young athletes in order to improve tennis around the area and get into professional tennis world. Juan Carlos Ferrero came hand in hand with Cascales at the age of 10. Daily practices with his dad in the tennis club, made him to take the racket and choose the sport he wanted to do for the rest of his life. The academy staffs promote social and cultural development of its players by taking care of their growth.

Education occupies an intrinsic part of Equelite´s value either on court or out of the court. Those players, who would like to combine practices and studies , will be able to do it at our main facilities. For that reason, we collaborate with the Spanish Government (distance-learning courses) and with the British System Council (approved to deliver Edexcel qualifications from Pearson).

The academic curriculum will be organized and adjusted by our teaching staff, individually for each player according to their tennis plan. The tutoring could be taken at any time, including evenings and weekends.

The academy offers different programmes adjusted to each age and level in order to achieve the objectives pursued for each player during their stay with us. Players are under the supervision of our well-qualified technical staff: coaches, fitness coaches, physiotherapist, doctors and psychologist. All of them with experience in the professional tennis.

4Sporting Excellence Recognition

The academy has got this recognition after gaining the mark of S10 in the tennis and paddle courts, and the best sporting excellence recognition to the management. JCFerrero- Equelite is the only sport academy that has got this recognition at maximum level, after getting the Gold distinctive of University chair of Sport from the Technical College of Valencia (Universi-dad de Valencia).

The worldwide Professional Tennis Coach Association with its headquarters in Luxembourg named JCFerrero-Equeli-te Sport Academy as “A leading Tennis Academies of the World”. This recognizes our Academy as one of the best tennis academies in the world.

JC Ferrero - Equelite is recognized as one of the best tennis academies in the world. Accompanied by an excellent climate all year round, there are some magnificent facilities situated strategically in order to facilitate the focus and concentration of tennis players.

A large number of technical staff works day-to-day in the complex. A full team with WTA & ATP experience will cover all the possible needs of a tennis player using a personal approach.

A significant number of our young players dominate the national rankings in their respective categories, including internatio-nal players such as Pablo Carreño Busta (10 ATP) or Carlos Alcaraz (Newcomer of the Year 2020 - ATP Award).

Although all this is marvellous, and we do consider ourselves to be the best in the field, it is true that other large academies also count on good facilities and trainers.

The first is that one of our first players to graduate from the academy, managed to reach world no1. Juan Carlos Ferrero not only lives in the academy and knows all the players on personal basis, but also he supervises training sessions and schedules, and puts himself on court to help our players reach their goals.

Playsight is a new technologi-cal tool that manages its complete system to improve the quality of training of the players. JCFerrero-Equelite is the first (and at the moment the unique) tennis academy in Spain, and one of the first in Europe, which has implemented in its courts this latest technology system: The smart court.

The smart court is based on a monitoring system of the game, through six cameras and a computer at the court. In this way, Playsight offers the possibility of knowing all the details of the practice in real time as well as analyze matches and specific shots, or even program different exercises by difficulty order depending on the time, courts, type of shots etc.

All this with and easy and dynamic interface that let even the parents enjoy in the distance the practice of their children.

My mental game has been developed by JC Ferrero - Equelite to guarantee a dynamic and continuous mental work of its players.

By means of a daily punctuation system, adapted to each player and a common ranking, our players can compare themselves with others, in order to understand their daily work, control their routines and continue to challenge themselves.

Defined as a motivation programme, My Mental Game offers statistics and graphics about many aspects.

Through a very simple and intuitive system which you can check the progression of the trainings. Besides, apart from the tennis practice other aspects are evaluated, for instance the diet, the behaviour, rests or routines.

SVTA method is searching an improvement of the visual skills in the trainings. In that way, the academy seeks to ensure that its players improve the visual anticipation, the action and reaction and the perception of space and time.

The movement depends on the vision and on how we process the impulses at a game: over 80% of the information we receive pass through the visual sense, so it is important to include this sense in the training routines.

The vision can be developed in order to reduce the reaction times and boost an immediate and greater efficacy response.

Visual training: less reaction time, more coordination and better interpretation of the game every moment.

Powerful: visual skills, cognitive, balance, space-time management, coordination.

7RegistrationsJC Ferrero - Equelite Programs*

1. Entry process for Annual Competition Program

The enrolment will be confirmed, once you sign the registration form, apart from the 25% of the first monthly payment and the school entry if applicable. The first monthly payment should be done 15 days before starting the program and the rest of the payment on the first 10 working days of each month.

The day that the player finishes their stay with us, we will do the account liquidation. It is necessary to provide the number of a credit card in order to activate the player’s account. The economic regulations for the tournaments are explained in other documents available for those who requires them.

2. Entry process for the rest of our programs

The registration will be confirmed once the Registration form has been signed and the 25% of the course fee has been paid. The rest of the amount must be paid 15 days before the beginning of the program.

Refund Policy: • If the cancellation is made 4 weeks

before the start of the program, 100% of the payment will be returned back.

• If the cancellation is made at least 15 days before the start of the program, 75% of the payment will be returned back.

• If the cancellation is made with less than 15 days before the start or once the program has started, no refund will be made (regardless of the cause, illness included).

The player has the right to use the sum that has not been used within the same year, in another future program (before 1 year since the deadline date of the booked program)

JC Ferrero - Equelite Sport Academy, offers a tennis and paddle program for adults.

The program is intended to adults who love playing tennis or paddle and would like to enjoy and have an unforgettable week.

Our Academy provides a personalized program for adults that would like to improve their tactical and technical skills. By personali-zing practices our coaches will adjust to the players.

Practices will be divided by 2 parts: morning and evening session of 1, 5 hour each mid day.

During the free hours you can enjoy our Terrace, Swimming-pool, Sauna or Sign-up to any of our extra activities.

Located in Villena, this rural hotel is in our high performance academy in which some of the best tennis players of the world have been training, such as Juan Carlos Ferrero, Pablo Carreño or Carlos Alcaraz. So, apart from enjoying in this wonderful environment, you can enjoy a great variety of sports such as tennis, paddle, cycling, running or football in any level.

You cannot only train with one of the best technical teams in the world; you can also relax, sunbathed, use our gym with a personal coach or if you want use our service of physiotherapy or massage. We offer also a delicious catering service with traditional dishes, barbacues, special diets…The wooden little houses are suites, and they have a small terrace and views to our garden, television, Wi-Fi, laundry service, air conditioner and private parking.

24Extra activities • Private lessons

The staffs of the academy are able to teach privately an hour of tennis, paddle, or fitness, depending on the needs of the player (child or adult)

• Clinics

Our coaches together with some of our competition players (Juan Carlos Ferrero, Pablo Carreño…) organize different activities for the tennis clubs or tournaments assistants.

• Foreign campus

Through the experience we have gained in different summer stage outside of our academy (Egypt, Dubai and China) JC Ferrero - Equelite Sport Academy offers the possibility of organize a summer camp in foreign countries.

• Educational tours

We organize excursions to our facilities for those European schools who are interested in getting to know closely how a sport academy works and manage its internatio-nal school (British Council System)

• Coaching course

JC Ferrero - Equelite Sport Academy organizes an online course for coaches, taught by the coaches form the academy, such as Juan Carlos Ferrero. Through an internship, all the material and the stay in our academy (full boarding) are included. Also, we organize, (under petition) intensive courses of a couple of days in our facilities

• Management

For those clubs that want to have good guidelines, a planning and a well-known name, JC Ferrero-Equelite is keen on elaborating a studio of these clubs and executes it according to its experience in the professional tennis.
