DECEMBER 8th – 11th

The Greenville Police Department’s Gang Unit and Greenville Regional Drug Task Force ended a narcotics related investigation spanning over several months. The investigation focused on the street level, illegal drug trade that occurs in Pitt County. Purchases of illegal drugs were conducted from dealers in and around our city’s neighborhoods and shopping centers with the use of informants and undercover officers. Some of these dealers are also validated gang members.

Greenville-Regional Drug Task Force

The Greenville Regional Drug task force is composed of Law Enforcement Officers from the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Police Department, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations, Farmville Police Department, East Carolina University Police Department and the Winterville Police Department.
