Guido RavoetSecretary GeneralEuropean Banking Federation

Former memberEuropean Economic & Social Committee.

Since January 2005, Guido Ravoet has been Secretary General of the European BankingFederation, following his 10 years office at the helm of the Association of BelgianBanks, currently called Febelfin (Belgian Finance Federation). Previously, he wasSecretary General of the European Association of Cooperative Banks and, throughouthis career, he has remained focused on European affairs, e.g. as former member of theEuropean Economic and Social Committee.

Guido Ravoet can rely on more than 10 years of banking experience, working with Cerabank (now KBC) first as Head of Research Department, then as Regional Director. Guidohas a PhD in Law and a Master's Degree in business economics.

Guido Ravoet is a member of the Supervisory Board of EFRAG, the European FinancialReporting Advisory Group. This body gives European input into the IASB activities andgives advice to the European Commission on the acceptance into EU law of IFRS.

Dr. Ashraf Gamal

Executive DirectorEgyptian Institute of Directors "EIOD“

Dr. Ashraf Gamal is the Executive Director of the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EIoD),focusing on Corporate Governance in Egypt and the Arab Region and the EgyptianCorporate Responsibility Center working on the promotion of the concepts andapplication of CSR in Egypt. Dr Ashraf is a board member of Thebes International, boardmember and audit committee member of Al Ahlya Insurance Company, Board Memberand Head of Audit Committee of Egyptian Resorts Company, ERC, the head of AuditCommittee of Egytrans. He is also a member of the General Assembly of the HoldingCompany for Transportation.Dr. Ashraf is the Secretary General of Al Masry Foundation for CommunityDevelopment, the National Coordinator for the EU project for Textile Development inEgypt, and a member of the youth and transportation committees of the NationalDemocratic Party. He is also a member of the Pension Reform Plan Implementation

Committee

He is an Associate Professor of Management, Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University. Heholds a PhD degree from Manchester University, UK, and a Masters degree in PublicAdministration from Carleton University, Canada. He further holds a Bachelor degree inBusiness Administration from Cairo University with highest honor. Dr. Ashraf workedas head of Business Administration Department at Nile University for GraduateStudied, affiliated with the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology.Since 1997, he taught a large number of management and business courses in Egypt,the US, and the Gulf Area. He has extensive experience in designing and deliveringtraining courses in management and organizational behavior to multinational and wellas Egyptian public and private organizations. Dr. Ashraf works also as an advisor to theMinister of Investment, Egypt.

Kauzal AliRizvi

Associate Director, Forensic ServicesKPMG

Kauzal specializes in anti-money laundering and white collar crime investigations. Hehas worked on a number of high profile cases while working with NationalAccountability Bureau (Federal anti corruption agency in Pakistan) which includes casesof bribery, embezzlement, kickbacks and laundering of proceeds of crime. Involved inpreparation of country stance in liaison with other stakeholders on issues such asmoney laundering, terrorist financing, asset sharing etc. Kauzal also acted as a focal-point within the anti-corruption agency for interacting with Asia Pacific Group onMoney Laundering and Terrorist Financing.

Kauzal has also worked on a number of joint investigations with various Europeaninvestigative / Police authorities on cases involving laundering of criminal proceeds andhad also been deposed before the foreign courts as a financial expert in moneylaundering cases. He was a key member of the team responsible for the preparationand compilation of documents / questionnaires as required by Asia pacific Group onMoney Laundering and Terrorist Financing (APG) in relation to the Pakistan'sevaluation on Anti Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorismsystems.

In KPMG, Kauzal has also worked on a number of anti- money laundering compliancereviews for banks / financial institutions which includes the gap analysis andbenchmark against legal/ regulatory requirements and industry best practice, inaddition to fraud investigation assignments in a wide range of sectors.

Joanna Declercq-Zelechowska

Joanna Declercq-Zelechowska holds Partner position at KPMG Lower Gulf and headsFinancial Risk Management service line. Before joining KPMG UAE in 2008, during last 13years, Joanna worked in other Big 4 and international consulting firms in the field ofenterprise and financial risk management for international financial institutions andcorporations. Joanna's areas of competence include financial risks (credit, marketliquidity and operational, economic capital) measurement, modelling, and management;ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) design and implementation; treasury management.She has been advising top international banks in Europe, Canada, North America, localfinancial institutions in UAE and one of the largest oil & gas, energy and industrialcompanies in Russia. Hassan is a Partner with Allied Compliance Consultants "ACC" and he is the Complianceand Inspection Director at Dubai Multi Commodities Center “DMCC”, He is an expert inthe commodities trading and exchanges for the gold & precious metals, diamonds &colored stones, energy and other commodities industries.Hassan is a risk management, anti-money laundering, and CFT (combating the financingof terrorism) expert with an MBA in Risk Management. He is a Certified ComplianceOfficer (CCO) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).Hassan worked in various positions at the Arab International Bank in Egypt, rising tobecome Senior Compliance Officer, a position that he held for five years. Karen O'Brien is an accomplished investigator with expertise in Fraud and FinancialCrime. She was a police officer for sixteen year with the Toronto Police Service,Ontario, Canada, leaving with the rank of Sergeant after spending the last five years inthe Fraud and Forgery Squad. She spent two years investigating financial crime in theCayman Islands as a Detective with the Royal Cayman Islands Police before branchingout to the private sector and specializing in compliance and Know Your Customerissues. Karen has assisted in investigations in the USA, Scotland, Isle of Man and the

UK.

Jamal Saleh

JAMAL M. SALEH is an Arab-American banker who has been in the banking industry for17 years, the first 10 of which were in New York, USA, in Private Banking and AssetManagement. In addition, his experience covers Credit, Corporate Banking, ProjectFinance and, presently, Risk Management and Basel II. He graduated valedictorian(summa cum laude) from the United States, and is the holder of 5 professionalcertifications.

He is presently heading Risk Management at Commercial Bank of Dubai (UAE) and isresponsible for the implementation of Basel 2 and has been given ownership for theformulation of full-fledged risk management plans for Credit, Market and OperationalRisk Management, for which he has received the "Certificate of Excellence" Award.

He is the designer of a range of in-house ad-hoc risk management tools for Credit,Market and Operational Risk, as well as the co-lead person on several bankwide strategic-level reengineering projects for Data Cleaning, Data Warehousing, Automation,Centralization, and setup of full-fledged ERM across the bank..
