• Bill Irwin (VT) representing CRCPD at the 2015 ICRP annual meeting.

• Ruth McBurney, our Executive Director, represents us in the European Radon Action Plan Workshops

• E-44 Task Force to Develop a Radiological Health and Safety Protocol for Orphan Sources and Radioactive Commodities Detected Upon Entry to the USA – Kelly Horn (IL) Chair – Gaining traction with support of the NRC, Customs and Border Protection, FDA and Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries.

• H-38 Committee on Medical Events starting to gather sufficient data to see trends in machine-based events.

COMMITTEESAND TASK FORCES

• H-4 Committee on Nationwide Evaluation of X-Ray Trends completed its assessment of dental radiography. Report is upcoming.

• E-43 Committee on Interagency Environmental Data Sharing and Communication – Pat Mulligan (NJ) Chair – three additional national exercises including in combination with improvised nuclear device and nuclear power plant exercises.

• G-34 Committee on Industrial Radiography assessing states as Independent Certifying Organizations and Texas’ work providing certification examinations.
