Chief Guest (Dr. S. S. Gokhale)
The Chief Guest Dr. S. S. Gokhale, Director, LNMIIT, Jaipur appreciated andcongratulated the management of Poornima Foundatiion for organizing the 2nd
IEEE International Conference on Recent Advances & Innovations in Engineeringon the occasion of the Valedictory function of ICRAIE 2016. He mentionedthat “Conferences should be able to first inspire, then influence and finally informthe delegates. He also voiced his concern, that this is an age of Heutogogy, wherestudents don’t want to be told what and how to study. So he asked that expertsresource persons of the conference should share their expertise, have the ability toengage the audience with their explaining ability, be enthusiastic and evokeinterest in the subject matter. He discussed about disruptions around leading toneed of Research.

Suggestions Received
Communication gap regarding accommodation and transport should not bethere
Improve coordination, timings Communicate to worldwide branches of IEEE Prepare presentation slots according to area Better accommodation facility to be arranged Reduce use of paper, don’t ask for hard copy of docs Provide proceedings in flash drive, should have small proceedings bags. Maintain existing service More sessions/ talks and better organization with respect to schedule Paper related to Civil, Mechanical etc to be included Small conference bag, with logo on it overall is good, nicely managed (3)
Use LATEX templates for papers, provide WLAN access in venue
CONFERENCE REPORT

Strengths
With reference to first ICRAIE-2014, the conference was planned moresystematically
All the papers were managed totally through EDAS 493 Technical Program Committee members across the world consented in advance 378 Reviewers reviewed the papers All papers were double blind reviewed 10 Countries, 23 States of India participated in submission 5 countries, 20 States of India participated in presentation All steps were rigorously followed for smooth organization Improved Quality of Publication (Similarity Less Than 25 %)
Weaknesses/ Scope
Less International Participation Review assignment to critical reviewers / Less number of International Reviewers Scope for more Plenary talks and keynotes Scope for Workshops, Tutorials Scope for Industry Sponsors Lack of Time management in following the step by step process and outcome
adherence Scope for attracting more Quality Research Contributors
