Divine Mercy Talk by Sister Veronica Fitch St Florian Parish, Hatley Parish Center Room 103

Today - Sunday, June 10th 11:45 am - 12:45 pm

The message of Divine Mercy is that God is merciful. He is love itself poured out for us and He wants no one to escape that merciful love. 25 plus years ago, Sister Veronica received a call to be in the contemplative Divine Mercy Congregation she read about in certain quotes from St Faustina’s diary.

She searched to find that community, but couldn’t because what St Faustina described had not been started anywhere in the world. She eventually joined an already existing contemplative community and took Solemn Vows. Sister Veronica will explain the Divine Mercy devotion and speak about the contemplative Divine Mercy congregation.

If you would like to volunteer or want more information please call Sharon at 715-845-8175.

Religious Freedom Week (formerly Fortnight for Freedom)

Have you been troubled by what is happening in America? The truths revealed by God about man, woman, marriage, sexuality and respect for life are increasingly labeled "bigotry" and "hate". People who seek to live and work in conformity with their religious convictions are increasingly intimidated and penalized. We are encouraged by the US Bishops to participate in the Religious Freedom Week running from June 22-29. Let us come together as a parish and community to pray for our religious freedoms.

At St Matthew Parish Thursday, June 21 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Prayers and Condolences

Our prayers and sympathy go to the family and friends of:

Fred Maly

He died on May 31st

He is the brother of Judy Tapper

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen
